हल्द्वानी। डा. सुशीला तिवारी राजकीय चिकित्सालय में अब सभी तरह के ऑपरेशन होंगे। इससे कुमाऊं भर के मरीजों को लाभ होगा। अस्पताल प्रबंधन ने कोविड मरीजों की संख्या कम होने पर यह निर्णय लिया है। कुमाऊं भर में एकमात्र बड़ा अस्पताल एसटीएच है जहां पूरे मंडल के लोगों का इलाज निर्भर है। कहने को अन्य जिलों में इलाज के दावे किए जाते हैं। पर हर जिले से मरीजों के रेफर किए जाने से दावे की हकीकत सामने आ जाती है। कोरोना काल में एसटीएच की ओपीडी बंद होने से पूरे मंडल के रोगियों को मायूस होना पड़ा। आेपीडी इस महीने के शुरुआत में कोरोना कम होने पर खोल दिया गया था। वहीं अब ऑपरेशन भी 23 जून से शुरू हो जाएगी। इससे मरीजों ने राहत की सांस ली है। उनका कहना है कि बारिश में पहाड़ पर आवागमन वैसे ही मुश्किल है। ऊपर से यहां से उप्र या दिल्ली दौड़भाग करना एक बहुत बड़ी परेशानी होती। अब एसटीएच में ऑपरेशन शुरू होने से इससे निजात मिलेगी।

चिकित्सा अधीक्षक डा. अरुण जोशी ने बताया कि अस्पताल में 11 जून को सभी तरह के मरीजों के लिए ओपीडी शुरू हो गई थी। अब अस्पताल में कोविड मरीजों की संख्या घट रही है। शुक्रवार को यह संख्या 30 है। वहीं ब्लैक फंगस के भी केवल 12 मरीज हैं। इसलिए निर्णय लिया गया है कि अब सभी तरह के मरीजों के ऑपरेशन भी शुरू कर दिए जाएं। ऑपरेशन 23 जून से शुरू हो जाएंगे। इसके लिए तैयारी शुरू कर दी है। जिनकी ड्यूटी दूसरी जगह लगाई थी। वहां से हटाकर अब ओटी में लगाई जाएगी। इससे कुमाऊं भर के मरीजों को राहत मिलेगी। इधर, स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अनुसार जिले में 14 लोग कोरोना संक्रमित पाए गए हैं।
