देहरादून। कोरोना संक्रमण की रोकथाम को प्रदेश में लागू कोविड कर्फ्यू की अवधि एक हफ्ते आगे बढ़ाई जा सकती है। हालांकि, इस बार बाजार खोलने के लिए चार दिन निर्धारित किए जा सकते हैं। सरकार के प्रवक्ता एवं कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने शनिवार को स्थिति की समीक्षा के लिए मुख्य सचिव समेत अन्य अधिकारियों की बैठक बुलाई है। माना जा रहा कि इसमें कर्फ्यू की अवधि और छूट के संबंध में भी फैसला लिया जा सकता है।

वर्तमान में लागू कोविड कर्फ्यू की अवधि 22 जून को सुबह छह बजे समाप्त हो रही है। इस सप्ताह तीन दिन बाजार खोलने के साथ ही आवश्यक वस्तुओं की दुकानों को दैनिक रूप में सुबह आठ से शाम पांच बजे तक खोलने की इजाजत दी गई है। हालांकि, अब कोरोना संक्रमण के मामलों में कमी आई है, लेकिन सरकार फिलवक्त कोई जोखिम लेने के मूड में नहीं है। ऐसे में कर्फ्यू की अवधि को सप्ताहभर आगे बढ़ाया जा सकता है।

सूत्रों के अनुसार इस बार कोविड कर्फ्यू में बाजार को चार दिन खोला जा सकता है, लेकिन शापिंग माल, सिनेमाघर, होटल-रेस्टोरेंट आदि को खोलने की अनुमति देने से सरकार परहेज कर सकती है। उधर, सरकार के प्रवक्ता सुबोध उनियाल ने कहा कि कोरोना संक्रमण के मामलों में कमी आई है, लेकिन यह और नीचे आए ये जरूरी है। उन्होंने कहा कि कोविड से जनता की सुरक्षा सरकार की पहली प्राथमिकता है। सभी पहलुओं पर विचार के बाद ही कर्फ्यू के संबंध में कोई निर्णय लिया जाएगा।
