देहरादून। अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर राज्यपाल बेबी रानी मौर्य और मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने प्रदेशवासियों को शुभकामनाएं दी हैं। अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के मौके पर मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत उत्तराखंड आयुर्वेद विश्वविद्यालय परिसर, हर्रावाला में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में शामिल होंगे।

राज्यपाल बेबी रानी मौर्य ने अपने संदेश में कहा कि पूरी दुनिया लंबे समय से कोरोना संक्रमण के खिलाफ लड़ रही है। इस महामारी से लाखों लोग शारीरिक और मानसिक पीड़ा का शिकार हुए हैं। योग हमें शारीरिक और मानसिक तनाव से दूरी बनाए रखने और असहज स्थिति में संतुलन बनाने में मदद करता है। उन्होंने कहा कि संक्रमण और संकट के समय शारीरिक और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य के लिए योग सर्वोत्तम उपाय है। उन्होंने सभी से योग को अपनी दिनचर्या में शामिल करते हुए कोरोना संकट का सामना मजबूती से करने की अपील की है।

मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने अपने संदेश में कहा कि योग भारत की प्राचीनतम और समृद्ध परंपरा की पहचान है। पूरी मानवता को हमारे ऋषि-मुनियों की यह महत्वपूर्ण देन है। योग साधना से शारीरिक व मानसिक रूप से स्वस्थ रहा जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के प्रयासों से अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस की शुरुआत की गई। पूरे विश्व में योग को लेकर जागरूकता बढ़ी है। योगाभ्यास से रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को भी बढ़ाया जा सकता है। उन्होंने प्रदेशवासियों से अपील की कि सभी कोरोनाकाल में योग को अपनी दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाएं।

अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस पर आयुर्वेद विश्वविद्यालय में मुख्य कार्यक्रम सुबह 6:50 बजे शुरू होगा। 45 मिनट तक योगाभ्यास और फिर तीन मिनट के विशिष्ट योग प्रदर्शन के बाद मुख्य अतिथि का संबोधन होगा। आठ बजे आयुर्वेद विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम होगा। मुख्यमंत्री व आयुष मंत्री समेत अधिकतम 50 व्यक्ति कार्यक्रम में शामिल होंगे।
