देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने शहीद जवान मनदीप नेगी के गांव सकनोली, सतपुली जाकर उनके पार्थिव शरीर पर पुष्पचक्र अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी। मुख्यमंत्री ने शहीद के परिजनों से मिलकर उनको सांत्वना दी। उन्होंने कहा की शहीद मनदीप नेगी के परिवारजनों को राज्य सरकार द्वारा हर संभव मदद दी जाएगी। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने घोषणा की कि शहीद मनदीप सिंह नेगी के गांव की रोड का डामरीकरण किया जाएगा और इस मार्ग का नाम का शहीद मनदीप नेगी मार्ग रखा जाएगा।

जम्मू कश्मीर के गुलमर्ग में मातृभूमि के प्रति अपना फर्ज निभाते हुए 11वीं गढ़वाल राइफल के सतपुली, पौड़ी गढ़वाल के मनदीप सिंह नेगी शहीद हो गए थे।

सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी, कृषि मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल, जिलाधिकारी डॉ. विजय जोगदंडे, एसएसपी सुश्री पी. रेणुका देवी, एवं सेना के अधिकारियों ने शहीद मनदीप सिंह नेगी के पार्थिव शरीर पर पुष्पचक्र अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी।
