काशीपुर। सिक्किम में शहीद हुए काशीपुर के लाल हिमांशु नेगी का पार्थिव शरीर शनिवार सुबह सात बजे उनके आवास पांडे कॉलोनी पहुंचा। सेना के जवान जब पार्थिव शरीर को लेकर उनके आवास पहुंचे तो वातावरण शोकाकुल हो गया। हजारों लोगों ने नम आंखों से शहीद को श्रद्धांजलि दी।

27 मार्च 2019 को हिमांशु कुमाऊँ रेजीमेंट में बतौर सिपाही भर्ती हुए थे। घर में 90 वर्षीय दादी सरूली देवी, मां कमला देवी, भाई बिरेंद्र व चंदन है। उसकी छोटी बहन दीपा रामनगर के पीएनजी कॉलेज में बीएससी फर्स्ट ईयर की छात्रा है। हिमांशु के दादा जय सिंह भी फौज में सिपाही थे। वह भी 1980 में गंगटोक में शहीद हुए थे।

हिमांशु बुधवार को सिक्किम में सेना के वाहन से गंगटोक जाते समय शहीद हो गए थे। उनका पार्थिव शरीर पहले शुक्रवार दोपहर तक काशीपुर पहुंचना था, लेकिन सिक्किम में मौसम खराब होने के चलते विमान उड़ान नहीं भर सका। ऐसे में शुक्रवार शाम को शव दिल्ली और फिर दिल्ली से हल्द्वानी होते हुए शनिवार सुबह लगभग सात बजे काशीपुर पांडे कॉलोनी उनके आवास पहुंचा। शव पहुंचते ही परिवार व क्षेत्रवासियों में कोहराम मच गया। पिता हीरा सिंह, बहन दीपा, मां कमला, भाई बिरेंद्र और चंदन सहित वहां मौजूद हजारों लोगों की आंखें नम हो गई। हजारों की संख्या में लोग अंतिम दर्शनों के लिए उमड़ पड़े।

सभी ने पुष्पचक्र अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी। इस दौरान बहन दीपा दुख के मारे जमीन पर गिरकर बेहोश हो गई। रिश्तेदार हिमांशु के भाई दिव्यांग चंदन को पार्थिव शरीर के पास लाए और अंतिम दर्शन कराए। वहीं जॉइंट मजिस्ट्रेट आकांक्षा वर्मा, सीओ अक्षय प्रह्लाद कोंडे, तहसीलदार बिपिन चंद्र पंत, अंतरराष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी राजीव चौधरी, आम आदमी पार्टी के प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष दीपक बाली, आप के प्रदेश प्रवक्ता मयंक शर्मा, आर्मी हेमपुर डिपो के सैन्य अधिकारी-कर्मचारी सहित क्षेत्र के हजारो लोगों ने पहुंचकर शहीद के अंतिम दर्शन किए हैं।

शहीद का पार्थिव शरीर सेना के वाहन में भारी जनसमूह के साथ अंतिम संस्कार के लिए रामनगर स्थित श्मशान घाट के लिए रवाना हुआ।

वीर सपूत के इंतजार में दो दिन से पथराई आंखें छलछला उठी

रानीखेत : सिक्किम हादसे में शहीद जांबाज बृजेश सिंह रौतेला का पार्थिव शरीर ताड़ीखेत पहुंच गया। गुरुवार से मां भारती के सपूत का चेहरा देखने को पथराई आंखें छलछला उठी। स्वजनों के साथ मौजूद लोगों के करुड़ क्रंदन से माहौल और गमगीन हो उठा। कुमाऊं रेजिमेंट के इस वीर सैनिक को खोने के गम में पत्थर दिल भी रो पड़े। सैन्य टुकड़ी अपने जांबाज का पार्थिव शरीर लेकर जैसे ही इंतजार में बैठे लोगों के बीच पहुंची तो अब तक खुद कोक संभाले पिता दलवीर सिंह और शहीद के ताऊं भारत सिंह बिलख पड़े।

बदहवास मां पुष्पा देवी अपने जिगर के टुकड़े से मिलने दौड़ पड़ी। उसे बमुश्किल संभाला गया। पूरा ताड़ीखेत सरना गांव के अपने जांबाज सिपाही के दुनिया से यूं चले जाने के गम में फफक पड़ा। ‘भारत माता की जय’ व ‘शहीद बृजेश सिंह अमर रहे’ की गूंज के बीच हजारों नम आंखें सेवन-कुमाऊं रेजिमेंट के वीर सैनिक के अंतिम दर्शन कर रही हैं। सैन्यसम्मान के साथ शहीद बृजेश सिंह का पार्थिव शरीर सेना केक वाहन से उसके पैतृक गांव सरना ले जाया जाज रहा है। परंपरा के अनुसार गांव के घाट पर उसे अंतिम सलामी दी जाएगी।
