हल्द्वानी : नवंबर 2020 में दिल्ली में किसान आंदोलन शुरू होने पर धीरे-धीरे इसका असर उत्तराखंड के तराई यानी ऊधमसिंह नगर में भी होने लगा। बड़ी संख्या में बाजपुर, गदरपुर, काशीपुर, जसपुर व अन्य इलाकों से लोग दिल्ली कूच करने लगे। स्थानीय स्तर पर भी विरोध-प्रदर्शनों का दौर चालू हो गया। जिस वजह से कृषि बहुल क्षेत्र में सत्ता विरोधी माहौल बनने लगा। वहीं, उत्तराखंड में पिछले २१ साल में पहली बार ऊधमसिंह नगर जिले के किसी विधायक को मुख्यमंत्री की कमान मिली है। ऐसे में आम चुनाव से पहले किसान आंदोलन की वजह से ऊपजे आक्रोश को थामने में सरकार काफी हद तक कामयाब हो सकती है। बशर्ते नए मुख्यमंत्री को फ्रंटफुट पर आना होगा। क्योंकि, जिले से दो कैबिनेट मंत्री तो पहले भी थे।

ऊधसिंहनगर को प्रदेश में खेती वाला जिला भी कहा जाता है। यही वजह है कि मैदानी जनपद हरिद्वार के साथ यहां भी किसान आंदोलन की सक्रियता तेजी से बढ़ी। बाहरी के अलावा स्थानीय किसान नेता भी यहां रणनीति बनाने में जुटे थे। इसलिए नवंबर से ही एलआइयू का काम भी बढ़ गया। दिल्ली में होने वाले हर बड़े मूवमेंट पर जत्थों के जत्थे ट्रैक्टर व अन्य वाहनों से यहां से कूच करने लगे। कई बार इन आंदोलनकारियों को रोकने के चक्कर में पुलिस से झड़प भी हुई। वहीं, रविवार को पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने ११वें मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर शपथ ले ली। दो बार से तराई की खटीमा विधानसभा से विधायक पुष्कर सिंह धामी के हाथों में राज्य की कमान पहुंचने से किसान आंदोलन से हुए डैमेज को कंट्रोल करने में मदद मिल सकती है।

बाजपुर में 1500 पर एक साथ मुकदमा

किसान आंदोलन को लेकर तराई में पुलिस व खुफिया विभाग खासा सक्रिय रहा। एलआइयू को ऊपर से आदेश थे कि इंटरनेट मीडिया पर समर्थन में फोटो-वीडियो डालने वाले लोगों की लिस्ट तैयार करें। वहीं, दिल्ली में किसान आंदोलन में शामिल होने जा रहे किसानों की दिसंबर 2020 में बाजपुर बार्डर पर पुलिस से काफी गहमागहमी हुई। किसानों का आक्रोश देख पुलिसवाले भी भाग निकले। इसके बाद बाजपुर थाने में एक साथ डेढ़ हजार लोगों पर मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया था।

निशंक की रैली में हुआ था हंगामा

किसान आंदोलन के तेज होने पर पिछले साल दिसंबर में रुद्रपुर में भाजपा द्वारा किसान रैली का आयोजन किया गया था। जिसमें केंद्रीय मंत्री डा. रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक पहुंचे थे। लेकिन कार्यक्रम से पहले विरोध का सिलसिला शुरू हो गया था। आक्रोशित किसानों ने विधायक व मंत्री के वाहनों तक को रोक दिया था।निशंक की रैली में हुआ था हंगामा
