देहरादून। उत्तराखंड में आज से मुख्यमंत्री महालक्ष्मी योजना शुरू होगी। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी सीएम आवास से योजना का शुभारंभ करेंगे। महिला सशक्तीकरण एवं बाल विकास मंत्री रेखा आर्य ने कहा कि प्रसव के बाद मां और कन्या शिशु की देखभाल को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए इस योजना को शुरू किया जा रहा है।

योजना के तहत प्रसव के बाद महिला को प्रथम दो बालिकाओं के जन्म पर एक-एक मुख्यमंत्री महालक्ष्मी किट एवं जुड़वा बच्चियों के जन्म पर महिला एवं बच्चों को अलग-अलग किट दिए जाएंगे। इसके लिए आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों पर पंजीकरण जरूरी होगा।

आवेदन के लिए जरूरी शर्तें 
आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों पर पंजीकरण, माता-शिशु रखा कार्ड की प्रति, संस्थागत प्रसव प्रमाण पत्र, यदि घर पर प्रसव हुआ है तो आंगनबाड़ी या आशा वर्कर द्वारा जारी प्रमाण पत्र, परिवार रजिस्टर की प्रति, पहली, दूसरी या जुड़वा कन्या के जन्म की स्वप्रमाणित घोषणा, नियमित सरकारी, अर्द्धसरकारी सेवक एवं आयकरदाता न होने का प्रमाण पत्र।

प्रदेश में पात्र लाभार्थियों तक योजना का लाभ पहुंचे इसके लिए लोगों को इसके प्रति जागरूक करने की जरूरत है। विभाग की कोशिश है कि ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोग योजना से जुड़ें।
