नैनीताल। 11 सूत्री मांगों को लेकर प्रदेश संगठन के आवाहन पर देवभूमि उत्तराखंड सफाई कर्मचारी संघ शाखा नैनीताल के कर्मचारी भी हड़ताल पर उतर आए हैं। कर्मचारियों ने पालिका दफ्तर में सरकार के खिलाफ नारेबाजी कर जमकर विरोध जताया। वही पहले दिन की हड़ताल से ही शहर की सफाई व्यवस्था चरमरा गई है। मुख्य मार्गों के साथ ही गली मोहल्लों में कूड़े के ढेर लग गए हैं।

सोमवार को देवभूमि उत्तराखंड सफाई कर्मचारी संघ नैनीताल के अध्यक्ष धर्मेश प्रसाद के नेतृत्व में तमाम सफाई कर्मचारी पालिका परिसर में एकत्रित हुए। जहां उन्होंने 11 सूत्रीय मांगों को लेकर सरकार के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी की। धर्मेश प्रसाद ने कहा कि प्रदेश संगठन लंबे समय से सफाई कर्मचारियों के हित को लेकर मांगे कर रहा है। इसको लेकर कई दौर की वार्ताएं भी संगठन के पदाधिकारी शहरी विकास मंत्री और अन्य जनप्रतिनिधियों से कर चुके हैं। मगर अब तक इसको लेकर सरकार की ओर से कोई निर्णय नहीं लिया गया।

बताया कि प्रदेश संगठन के आह्वान पर नैनीताल शाखा ने भी कार्य बहिष्कार करने का फैसला लिया है। उन्होंने बताया कि यदि सरकार द्वारा मांगों पर विचार नहीं किया गया तो समस्त कर्मचारी अनिश्चितकाल के लिए हड़ताल पर रहेंगे। इस दौरान महासचिव सोनू सहदेव, उपाध्यक्ष कमल कुमार, उप सचिव मंजीत सहदेव, ओम प्रकाश चौटाला, राजेंद्र कुमार, अमन टांक, विक्की सिलेलान, महेश कुमार, सुनीता, रंजना, मंजू, बसंती समेत तमाम कर्मचारी विरोध प्रदर्शन में जुटे रहे।

पहले दिन की हड़ताल से ही पटरी से उतरी सफाई व्यवस्था सफाई कर्मियों के हड़ताल पर जाने से शहर की सफाई व्यवस्था भी चरमरा गई है। शहर के माल रोड, तल्लीताल, मल्लीताल बाजार, पंत पार्क समेत ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्रों में कूड़े के ढेर लग गए हैं। जिससे दुर्गंध से बुरा हाल है। ईओ अशोक वर्मा ने बताया कि फिलहाल कर्मियों के साथ वार्ता की जा रही है। सफाई व्यवस्था के लिए कुछ वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था की जाएगी।
