चंपावत। कुमाऊं में बारिश का दौर जारी है। सोमवार की रात से लगातार हो रही बारिश के कारण चंपावत जिले के मैदानी क्षेत्रों में जल भराव की स्थित पैदा हो गई है। पहाड़ों में भी सोमवार की रात से लगातार बारिश हो रही है, जिसके कारण टनकपुर में किरोड़ा नाला और शारदा नदी का जल स्तर बढ़ रहा है। मंगलवार की सुबह हनुमानगढ़ी, विष्णुपुरी कालौनी, आमबाग, बिचई आदि स्थानों पर कई घरों में पानी घुस गया। टनकपुर-पिथौरागढ़ हाइवे पर सुबह नौ बजे तक आवागमन सुचारू था, अलबत्ता जगह-जगह मलबा गिरने से सड़क बंद होने की संभावना बनी हुई है। इधर पूर्णागिरि समेत आठ ग्रामीण सड़कें बंद हैं।

सोमवार को भी दिन भर रुक-रुक कर बारिश होती रही। देर शाम मौसम में ठहराव आया, लेकिन रात 10 बजे से पर्वतीय और मैदानी क्षेत्रों में बारिश शुरू हो गई। बारिश का सिलसिला मंगलवार को भी जारी है। टनकपुर-पिथौरागढ़ राजमार्ग पर धौन-स्वाला, चल्थी, बेलखेत, तल्ली बाराकोट, भारतोली आदि स्थानों पर मलबा गिर रहा है, लेकिन अभी हाइवे सुचारू है। सबसे अधिक परेशानी टनकपुर में देखने को मिली है। यहां जल भराव से हनुमानगढ़ी क्षेत्र, विष्णुपुरी कालौनी, आमबाग, बिचई में लोगों के घरों में पानी घुस गया। किरोड़ा नाले और शारदा नदी का पानी आने से हनुमानगढ़ी का पूरा क्षेत्र जल मग्न हो गया है। पूर्णागिरि मार्ग तीन दिन से अभी तक नहीं खुल पाया है।

जबकि सोमवार को बंद अमोड़ी-छतकोट, ठुलीगाड़-भैरव मंदिर, छिनकाछीना-थुवामौनी सड़क अभी भी बंद हैं। मंगलवार को हरम-रमैला, धूनाघाट-भिंगराड़ा, चम्पावत-खेतीखान और डुंगराबोरा-स्याला-पोथ सड़क मलबा आने से बंद हो गई हैं। अब बंद पड़ी ग्रामीण सड़कों की संख्या आठ पहुंच गई है। इधर पूर्णागिरि मार्ग बंद होने से पूर्णागिरि धाम के दर्शन करने आए श्रद्धालुओं के 15 वाहन तीन दिन से भैरव मंदिर के पास में ही फंसे हैं। लोनिवि ईई एपीएस बिष्ट ने बताया कि पूरी चट्टान के सड़क पर गिर जाने से सड़क खोलने में देरी हो रही है। दो जेसीबी और एक पोकलैंड मशीन लगातार मलबा हटाने में जुटी है। समाचार लिखे जाने तक पहाड़ और मैदान दोनों जगह बारिश का सिलसिला जारी है।

मजखाली अल्मोड़ा हाईवे पर द्वारसौं में भूस्खलन

पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में बीते 48 घंटों से लगातार बारिश है। इससे दुश्वारियां भी बढ़ने लगी हैं। यातायात के लिए सुरक्षित मजखाली अल्मोड़ा हाईवे पर द्वारसौं वनक्षेत्र की पहाड़ी दरक गई। राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग मलबे से पट गया। बारिश से हालांकि वाहनों की आवाजाही कुछ कम रही। मगर रानीखेत व अल्मोड़ा को आ जा रहे वाहनों को सड़क के एक छोर से मलबे के ऊपर से गुजरना पड़ा।
