नई टिहरी। देवप्रयाग के दुरोगी गांव में दो महिलाओं को मारने वाले गुलदार को भी एक साल पहले किसी ने मारने का प्रयास किया था। गुलदार के पोस्टमार्टम में उसके शरीर से एक साल पुराने कई छर्रे मिले हैं। इसके बाद वन विभाग ने पुलिस और प्रशासन को क्षेत्र में हथियार रखने वालों के चिह्नीकरण करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। साथ ही छर्रो को फोरेंसिक जांच के लिए भेजा है। विभागीय अधिकारियों की मानें तो यही गुलदार के हिंसक होने का कारण बना था। दुरोगी गांव में दो महिलाओं को शिकार बनाने वाला गुलदार भी एक साल पहले किसी की गोली का निशाना बना था। गुलदार को बीती मंगलवार को शिकारी जहीर अब्बास ने ढेर कर दिया था। इसके बाद गुलदार का पोस्टमार्टम हुआ तो उसके शरीर में छर्रे मिले। इसके बाद वन विभाग ने छर्रो को जांच के लिए फोरेंसिक जांच के लिए भेज दिया है।

वहीं पुलिस और प्रशासन को भी आसपास के क्षेत्र में राइफल और अन्य हथियार रखने वालों का चिह्नीकरण करने के लिए कहा है। विभागीय अधिकारियों का कहना है कि गुलदार के जबड़े और फेफड़ों में परेशानी थी, जिस कारण वह जानवरों का शिकार नहीं कर पा रहा था। छह साल के नर गुलदार के शरीर में मौजूद पुराने छर्रे भी उसकी परेशानी बढ़ा रहे थे। इसके कारण वह इंसानों पर हमले करने लगा।

डीएस मीणा (प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी नरेंद्रनगर वन प्रभाग) का कहना है कि मृत नरभक्षी गुलदार के शरीर में एक साल पुराने छर्रे मिले हैं। किसी ने उसे मारने का प्रयास किया था। क्षेत्र में हथियार रखने वाले ग्रामीणों का चिह्नीकरण किया जा रहा है।
