चमोली। चमोली में लगातार रिमझिम बारिश जारी है। जिले में 21 संपर्क मार्ग जगह-जगह मलबा और भूस्खलन से बंद पड़े हुए हैं। जिला आपदा प्रबंधन अधिकारी नंद किशोर जोशी ने बताया कि सड़कों को खोलने के लिए संबंधित क्षेत्रों में जेसीबी मशीनें तैनात की गई हैं। जिले में भारी बारिश नहीं है।

पहाड़-मैदान का सड़क संपर्क चौथे दिन भी ठप
टनकपुर-पिथौरागढ़ राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग लगातार चौथे दिन मंगलवार को भी बंद है। स्वांला और भारतोली से मलबा न हटने से वाहनों की आवाजाही नहीं हो सकी। वहीं प्रशासन ने टनकपुर से ही वाहनों की आवाजाही रोक दी है। इसके चलते प्रशासन ने रास्ते में अब लोगों के न फंसे होने का दावा किया है।

वहीं रविवार शाम लोहाघाट के विधायक की कथित अभद्रता से खिन्न कार्यदायी संस्था राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग खंड ने सोमवार को कार्य बहिष्कार किया। इससे सड़क से मलबा नहीं हटाया जा सका। हालांकि सोमवार को सात ग्रामीण सड़कें खोल दी गईं लेकिन चंपावत जिले के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की 17 सड़कें अब भी बंद हैं। 

एनएच पर स्वांला और भारतोली में मलबा गिरने से पहाड़ और मैदान का सड़क संपर्क तीन दिन से कटा है। एनएच बंद होने से रोडवेज की बस सेवा लगातार तीसरे दिन सोमवार को भी बुरी तरह से प्रभावित रही। सहायक मंडलीय प्रबंधक नरेंद्र कुमार गौतम ने बताया कि रोडवेज ने सोमवार को भी तीन बस सेवाओं को देवीधुरा होकर चलाया।
