टिहरी। उत्तराखंड के टिहरी जिले के थाना हिंडोलाखाल के करास गांव (पौड़ीखाल) में युवक और युवती के शव पेड़ से लटके मिले। पुलिस इसे प्रथमदृष्टया प्रेम प्रसंग का मामला मानते हुए आत्महत्या बता रही है। दोनों शव सड़-गल चुके थे, जिससे लगता है कि दोनों की मौत काफी पहले हो चुकी थी। 

जानकारी के अनुसार, एक व्यक्ति ने पौड़ीखाल क्षेत्र में युवक व युवती के शव पेड़ पर फंदे के सहारे लटके होने की सूचना दी। सूचना पर थाना हिंडोलाखाल की पुलिस मौके पर पंहुची। पुलिस को करास गांव के समीप जंगल में काफल के पेड़ पर दो शव लटके मिले।

थाना प्रभारी बलवंत कंडियाल ने बताया कि दोनों की शिनाख्त हो गई है। दोनों की उम्र लगभग 18 साल है। युवती 17 जुलाई को गांव से लापता चल रही थी। 18 जुलाई को उसकी गुमशुदगी दर्ज कराई गई थी। जबकि युवक हरियाणा में किसी होटल में काम करता था। सूचना मिली है कि युवती के लापता होने के दौरान 17 जुलाई को वह पौड़ीखाल आया था। 

उन्होंने बताया कि युवती की कॉल डिटेल्स से पता चला है कि दोनों की आपस में फोन पर बात हुई थी। कॉल डिटेल्स एवं परिस्थितियों के आधार पर मामला प्रेम-प्रसंग का लग रहा है। पुलिस के अनुसार परिजनों ने अभी खुलकर कुछ नहीं बताया है। परिजनों का कहना है कि उन्हें दोनों के बीच किसी प्रकार के संबंध की जानकारी नहीं है।
