नैनीताल। नैनीताल हाईकोर्ट ने कुंभ में कोरोना जांच फर्जीवाड़े के आरोपी नलवा लैब संचालक की गिरफ्तारी पर रोक लगाते हुए लैब संचालक नवतेज नलवा को निचली कोर्ट के समक्ष अग्रिम जमानत के लिए याचिका दाखिल करने का आदेश दिया है।

कोर्ट ने याचिकाकर्ता को 17 अगस्त तक अग्रिम जमानत याचिका दाखिल करने की छूट दी है। तब तक उनकी गिरफ्तारी पर रोक रहेगी।

न्यायमूर्ति एनएस धानिक की एकलपीठ के समक्ष मामले की सुनवाई हुई। कुंभ में कोरोना टेस्टिंग फर्जीवाड़ा सामने आने के बाद 17 जून को सीएमओ हरिद्वार ने हरिद्वार कोतवाली में मैक्स कॉरपोरेट सर्विसेज, लाल चंदानी व नलवा लैब के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज किया था।

हालांकि सभी की गिरफ्तारी पर हाईकोर्ट ने रोक लगा दी थी लेकिन जांच के दौरान पुलिस ने धाराएं बढ़ा दीं तो गिरफ्तारी का खतरा नलवा लैब सहित सभी पर बन गया।

नलवा लैब संचालक ने हाईकोर्ट में याचिका दाखिल कर कहा था कि उन्होंने एक भी जांच नहीं की और उनको इस मामले में गलत फंसाया जा रहा है। याचिका में गिरफ्तारी पर रोक के साथ एफआईआर निरस्त करने की मांग की  गई थी।
