नैनीताल: कोविड काल मे उत्तराखंड में सरकारी स्कूलों को खोलने के सरकार के निर्णय के खिलाफ हाईकोर्ट में जनहित याचिका दायर हो चुकी है। मुख्य न्यायाधीश की अध्यक्षता वाली खंडपीठ इस मामले पर सुनवाई आज करेगी। जिसको लेकर अभिभावकों, शिक्षकों व सरकार की निगाह लगी है। राज्य में आज से सरकारी विद्यालय महिमा बाद खुल रहे हैं। कोविड की तीसरी लहर की आशंका के बीच खुल रहे स्कूलों को लेकर तमाम अभिभावक आशंकित हैं। अब जनहित याचिका के माध्यम से यह मामला हाईकोर्ट पहुंचा है।

याचिका में कहा गया है कि सरकार के स्कूल खोलने के निर्णय से बच्चों का जीवन खतरे में पड़ जायेगा। पहाड़ों में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं की बेहद कमी है। यदि बच्चे संक्रमित हो गए तो स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की कमी के साथ अभिभावकों की कमजोर माली हालत से स्थितियां बिगड़ेंगी, लिहाजा सरकार के निर्णय पर तत्काल प्रभाव से रोक लगाई जाय। याचिकाकर्ता के अधिवक्ता अजयवीर पुंडीर के अनुसार कोविड काल में स्कूल खोलने का निर्णय गलत है।
