 उत्तरकाशी। उत्तराखंड में इनदिनों मौसम के तेवर कुछ तल्ख बने हुए हैं। बारिश के चलते यहां जगह-जगह भूस्खलन और यातायात बाधित होने की घटनाएं सामने आ रही है। आज गंगोत्री राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर चुंगी-बड़ेथी के पास बने भूस्खलन जोन पर भागीरथी नदी की साइड भारी भूस्खलन हुआ है। इसके चलते यहां एहतियातन यातायात रोक दिया गया है।

बता दें कि गंगोत्री राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर चुंगी बडे़थी के पास वर्ष 2010 से भूस्खलन जोन बना हुआ है। बरसात में यहां अक्सर यातायात बाधित रहता है। वर्ष 2017 में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग और अवसंरचना विकास निगम लिमिटेड (एनएचआइडीसीएल) ने इस भूस्खलन जोन का ट्रीटमेंट कार्य शुरू किया, लेकिन कामयाबी नहीं मिल पाई। फिर रोड प्रोटेक्शन गैलरी का निर्माण शुरू हुआ, लेकिन मंगलवार दोपहर को अचानक रोड प्रोटेक्शन गैलरी से नदी की साइड भूस्खलन होने लगा, जिससे यातायात बाधित हो गया। इस जगह रुक रुक कर लगातार भूस्खलन हो रहा है, जिसके चलते कभी भी कोई बड़ा हादसा हो सकता है।

जिले में लगातार भूस्खलन की घटनाएं सामने आ रही हैं। जिले में शनिवार रात और रविवार पूरे दिन ज्ञानसू के सामने मनेरा बाईपास की पहाड़ी से भूस्खलन हुआ। इसके कारण बाईपास मार्ग भी बाधित हुआ। ज्ञानसू निवासी राजपाल बिष्ट ने कहा कि रात में पत्थर गिरने की आवाज से कई लोग रातभर जागे रहे। रात के समय पत्थर गिरने और टकराने से चिगारी भी निकल रही थी, जो बेहद डरावना था। भले सतर्कता दिखाते हुए जिला आपदा प्रबंधन अधिकारी देवेंद्र पटवाल ने इस मार्ग पर सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से यातायात रोक दिया है, लेकिन सुबह के समय मनेरा बाईपास पर टहलने वालों और खच्चर वालों पर अभी प्रतिबंध नहीं लगा।

वहीं, बीते शनिवार को गंगोत्री राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर डबराणी के पास पहाड़ी से भारी भूस्खलन हुआ था। इस दौरान एक भेड़ पालक और एक ढाबा संचालक की जान बाल-बाल बची थी। इसके साथ ही गंगोत्री नेशनल हाईवे पर आवाजाही करने वाले करीब 25 व्यक्तियों की जान आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग के स्वयंसेवक राजेश रावत की सतर्कता से बच पाई थी।
