हरिद्वार। जनरल इंश्योरेंस सेक्टर के कर्मचारियों की ट्रेड यूनियनों के आह्वान पर बीमा कंपनी के कर्मचारियों ने रानीपुर मोड़ पर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया गया। कर्मचारी बुधवार (आज) को हड़ताल पर हैं।

ट्रेड यूनियन के श्रमिक नेता राजेंद्र कुमार श्रमिक ने कहा कि जनरल नेशनलाइजेशन बिल 1972 में केंद्र सरकार ने लागू किया। जिससे बीमा अधिनियम 1972 के अनुसार केंद्र सरकार की हिस्सेदारी कम से कम 51 फीसदी थी।

कंपनी का प्रमुख स्वामित्व केंद्र सरकार के पास था। अब संशोधन विधेयक 2021 को ध्वनिमत से लोकसभा में पारित कर दिया है। इससे केंद्र सरकार की पूर्ण शक्तियां निदेशकों को हस्तांतरित हो जाएंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि बिल संशोधन कर सामान्य बीमा कंपनियों को निजीकरण की ओर धकेल दिया है। निजी कंपनी के निदेशक बेलगाम होंगे। बीमा कंपनियों के कर्मचारियों का भविष्य दांव पर लग गया है।

यूनाइटेड इंडिया इंश्योरेंस कंपनी से रविंद्र कुमार ने कहा कि अगस्त 2017 से कर्मचारियों को वेतन संशोधन का भुगतान भी नहीं हुआ है। इससे कर्मचारियों में भारी आक्रोश है। उन्होंने कहा कि 4 अगस्त को देशभर में जनरल इंश्योरेंस सेक्टर के कर्मचारी हड़ताल पर रहेंगे।

हरिद्वार में भी हड़ताल का पूरा असर रहेगा। प्रदर्शन करने वालों में यूनाइटेड इंडिया इंश्योरेंस कंपनी के संजय अग्रवाल, संजीव शर्मा, निर्मल मोगा, उमेश गर्ग, अशोक कुमार, दि न्यू इंडिया एश्योरेंस कंपनी से रोहित कुमार, चंद्र सिंह नेगी, नवीन भटनागर, अवनीश कुमार, वीरेंद्र रावत, नितिका तलवार, दिनेश वर्मा, प्रीति कुमारी अनुपमा, एसडी जोशी, प्रवीण सिंह नेगी, नेशनल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी से आनंद कुमार, संजय भारद्वाज, निकिता गुप्ता, एवं ओरिएंटल इंश्योरेंस के कर्मचारी शामिल रहे।
