हल्द्वानी : ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय की तरफ से लांच की गई देश की 75 आत्मनिर्भर महिलाओं की किताब में हल्द्वानी के एकता स्वयं सहायता समूह को भी जगह मिली है। पीएम मोदी ने इस किताब को लांच किया। एकता समूह की पुष्पा व मीरा ने कोरोना काल में कोविड सेंटर के मरीजों के लिए कैंटीन स्थापित कर भोजन की व्यवस्था की थी। मरीजों के साथ-साथ प्रशासन ने भी उनके काम को काफी सराहा था।

कोरोना की दूसरी लहर में सुशीला तिवारी अस्पताल के अलावा कई अन्य जगहों को भी कोविड केयर सेंटर में तब्दील किया गया था। मोटाहल्दू में बनाए गए सेंटर में बड़ी संख्या में मरीजों को रखा गया था। यहां खाना बनाने की जिम्मेदारी हल्द्वानी के फत्ताबंगर स्थित एकता स्वयं सहायता समूह की महिलाओं को दी गई थी। ग्रामीण क्षेत्र की महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए पुष्पा पठानी द्वारा इस समूह की स्थापना की गई थी। दूसरी लहर में संक्रमण के बढ़े खतरे के बावजूद समूह ने हिम्मत नहीं हारी और मोटाहल्दू कोविड सेंटर में रसोई शुरू कर लोगों को भोजन उपलब्ध कराना शुरू कर दिया। समूह की पुष्पा व मीरा सुबह होते ही सेंटर में पहुंच मरीजों के लिए खाना बनाने में जुट गई। मिलनसार स्वभाव व काम में निपुण होने के कारण यहां इलाज को आने वाले हर मरीज ने इनके लिए अच्छा फीडबैक दिया। जिस वजह से ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा तैयार की गई आत्मनिर्भर महिलाओं की किताब में 34वें नंबर पर इनके संघर्ष को भी जगह मिली है।

मोदी सरकार का महिलाओं के उत्थान और उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर बनाने का पूरा जोर रहता है। इसीलिए अभी हाल ही में उज्जवला का दूसरा चरण लागू किया गया। जिसका मकसद है कि महिलाओं को चूल्हा न फूंकना पड़े। धुंए से होने वाली बीमारियों से बचा जा सके। इसके साथ ही महिलाओं को ऋण उपलब्ध करवाना, उनके द्वारा बनाए उत्पादों को बाजार उपलब्ध करवाना आदि शामिल है। इसके अलावा महिलाओं को सफल होने के बाद अन्य को प्रेरित करने के लिए भी विभिन्न योजनाएं हैं। ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय का यह प्रयास भी कुछ इसी तरह से है। जिससे कि अन्य महिलाओं को भी आत्मनिर्भर बनने की प्रेरणा मिले।
