क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन ऑफ उत्तराखंड ने सीनियर क्रिकेट टीम के फाइनल ट्रायल के लिए 54 खिलाड़ियों की सूची जारी की है। गढ़वाल व कुमाऊं मंडल से चुने गए खिलाड़ियों को आगामी 21, 22 व 23 अगस्त को काशीपुर की हाइलेंडर क्रिकेट अकादमी में ट्रायल मैचों से पहले रिपोर्ट करने को कहा गया है। 24 अगस्त रिजर्व डे रखा गया है।

सीएयू प्रवक्ता संजय गुसाईं के अनुसार, टीम में सैयद मुस्ताक अली, विजय हजारे ट्रॉफी में खेल चुके खिलाड़ियों के साथ ही कई नए चेहरों को भी सूची में शामिल किया गया है। जिनमें करनवीर कौशल, अवनीश सुधा, पीयूष जोशी, दिक्क्षांशु नेगी, आर्य सेठी, कुणाल चंदेला, मनीष भट्ट, संयम अरोड़ा, कमल सिंह, तनुश गुसाईं, विजय जेठी, धनराज शर्मा, अग्रिम तिवारी, सनी राणा, विकास रावत, प्रदीप चमोली, अंकित मनोड़ी, रविन्द्र रावत, निखिल कोहली, योगेश रावत, गौरव सिंह, हिमांशु बिष्ट, मयंक मिश्रा, गिरीश रतूड़ी, मोहम्मद निजाम, सौरभ रावत, वैभव भट्ट, विजय शर्मा, आशीष चौधरी, आकाश मधवाल, अजित सिंह रावत, गौरव जोशी, राजेश टंगरी, वैभव पंवार, हर्षित बिष्ट, शोभित सरीन, दिनेश पंवार, अभिषेक गुसाईं, पीयूष नेगी, सुमित जुयाल, प्रशांत कुमार, विकास, देवेन्दर बोरा, गौरव चौधरी, श्याम शर्मा, हरमन सिंह, आदित्य सेठी, निखिल पुंडीर, करन फर्तियाल, हरजीत सिंह, नवीन कुमार सिंह, विशाल डंगवाल, शिवम खुराना शामिल किए गए हैं। वहीं अंडर 19 व्बाइज टीम के लिए भी 64 खिलाड़ियों की सूची जारी की गई है।

चुने गए खिलाड़ियों के लिए 27 अगस्त तक आयुष क्रिकेट अकादमी छिद्दरवाला में विशेष शिविर आयोजित किया गया है। हालांकि इसमें 64 वें नम्बर पर यश सैनी के चयन को लेकर सवाल भी उठे हैं। बताया गया है कि उक्त खिलाड़ी का नाम हरिद्वार जिले की सूची में नहीं था। लेकिन फाइनल ट्रायल में उसका नाम अंतिम नाम के रूप में शामिल किया गया है। वहीं अंडर 23 के ट्रायल के लिए सीएयू ने कोई शेड्यूल जारी नहीं किया गया है।
