देहरादून। अफगानिस्तान में तालिबान के कब्जे के बाद सैकड़ों भारतीयों की सांसें भी अटकी हुई हैं। ये भारतीय नागरिक घर वापसी का इंतजार कर रहे हैं। इनमें बड़ी संख्या में उत्तराखंडी भी शामिल हैं, जो तालिबानियों की दहशत के बीच खुद को सुरक्षित रखने की कोशिश में जुटे हैं। वहां अमेरिकी सेना की मेडिकल टीम में शामिल दून की सविता शाही तमाम जिद्दोजहद के बाद घर पहुंच गई हैं। उनका अफगानिस्तान से हिंदुस्तान पहुंचने का सफर बेहद भयावह रहा। काबुल एयरपोर्ट पर गोलियों की गूंज ने उनकी घर वापसी की उम्मीदों को भी धुंधला कर दिया था, लेकिन किसी तरह भारतीय वायुसेना के जहाज तक पहुंचकर आज वह अपने घर पर हैं।

काबुल में नाटो (नार्थ एटलांटिक ट्रीटी आर्गनाइजेशन) और अमेरिकी सेना की मेडिकल टीम के साथ दून की सविता शाही पिछले आठ साल से जुड़ी थीं। अफगानिस्तान में अचानक बदले हालात का वह भी अंदाजा नहीं लगा पाईं। चंद दिन में ही अफगानिस्तान में हर तरह अफरातफरी मच गई और देखते ही देखते तालिबान ने राजधानी काबुल पर कब्जा कर लिया। सविता ने बताया कि बीते 15 अगस्त को काबुल एयरपोर्ट पर तालिबानियों का कब्जा हो चुका था और सभी उड़ानें रद हो गईं। ऐसे में घर वापसी के तमाम विकल्पों पर विचार किया जाने लगा।

16 अगस्त की शाम काबुल एयरपोर्ट के पास स्थित अमेरिकी सेना के मिलिट्री एयरपोर्ट से मेडिकल टीम समेत अन्य को रेस्क्यू करने की योजना बनी। शाम को करीब छह बजे जैसे ही हम लोग मिलिट्री एयरपोर्ट के करीब पहुंचे, तभी तालिबान लड़ाकों ने अंधाधुंध फायरिंग शुरू कर दी। किसी तरह जान बचाते हुए सभी लोग एयरपोर्ट से कैंप वापस लौट गए। सविता शाही ने बताया कि काबुल की सड़कों का महौल रूह कंपाने वाला था। कोई भी बाहर निकलने की हिम्मत नहीं जुटा पा रहा था। सभी अपने-अपने संपर्कों के आधार पर वतन वापसी के प्रयास में जुटे थे।

उनके कैंप के ही एक अन्य सदस्य भी लगातार भारतीय दूतावास से संपर्क कर रहे थे, जहां से सविता को पता चला कि भारतीय एयरफोर्स का एयरक्राफ्ट अपने राजनयिकों और उनके परिवारों के रेस्क्यू को अमेरिकी मिलिट्री एयरपोर्ट पर आ रहा है। इस पर 17 अगस्त को अमेरिकी सेना के मेडिकल कैंप से कुल सात सदस्य सुबह करीब सवा छह बजे छिपते-छिपाते मिलिट्री एयरपोर्ट पर पहुंचे। वहां भारतीय वायुसेना के विमान को देख उनकी आंखें भर आईं। अन्य व्यक्तियों के साथ वह भी विमान में सवार हो गए। हालांकि, विमान में सीट नहीं मिलने के चलते कई लोग फर्श पर बैठ गए।

सुबह करीब 7:30 बजे 150 व्यक्तियों को लेकर वायुसेना का विमान जामनगर गुजरात के लिए रवाना हो गया। काबुल से निकलते ही सबकी जान में जान आई। इसके बाद दोपहर बाद करीब साढ़े तीन बजे जामनगर से उन्हें दिल्ली पहुंचा दिया गया। वह अब दून पहुंच गई हैं, लेकिन काबुल में देखे मंजर को भुला नहीं पा रही हैं।

भारतीय वायुसेना बनी फरिश्ता

सविता शाही कहती हैं कि काबुल में चारों ओर दहशत का माहौल है। कई देशों के लोग वतन वापसी की आस लगाए छिपे बैठे हैं। ऐसे में भारतीय वायुसेना उनके लिए फरिश्ता बनकर पहुंच रही है। बताया कि भारतीय वायुसेना के विमान अपने नागरिकों के अलावा अन्य देशों के नागरिकों को भी घर पहुंचा रही है। नाटो और अमेरिकी सेना के साथ ही दोहा, कतर, दुबई, नार्वे आदि के नागरिकों को भी वायुसेना के विमान घर पहुंचा रहे हैं।
