जोशीमठ। बदरीनाथ धाम की तीर्थयात्रा शुरू करने की मांग पर कांग्रेस शुक्रवार को बदरीनाथ धाम कूच कर रही है। इस कूच में स्थानीय लोग भी शामिल हैं। पूर्व मंत्री राजेंद्र भंडारी के नेतृत्व में बदरीनाथ कूच किया जा रहा है।

वहीं प्रदर्शनकारियों को पुलिस ने पांडुकेश्वर में रोक दिया है। जहां प्रदर्शनकारियों और पुलिस कर्मियों के बीच नोंक-झोंक भी हुई। इस कूच को देखते हुए पुलिस-प्रशासन की ओर से पांडुकेश्वर में बदरीनाथ हाईवे पर बैरिकेडिंग लगाई गई है।

यहां करीब 200 पुलिस कर्मियों की तैनाती की गई है। वहीं बदरीनाथ धाम में भी यात्रा संचालन को लेकर आज स्थानीय लोगों का धरना-प्रदर्शन का कार्यक्रम है। इससे पहले भी कई बार स्थानीय लोगों ने चारधाम यात्रा शुरू करने की मांग को लेकर प्रदर्शन किया है।

कोरोना संक्रमण को ध्यान में रखते हुए चारधाम यात्रा अभी शुरू नहीं की गई है। उत्तराखंड सरकार ने चमोली, रुद्रप्रयाग और उत्तरकाशी जिले के लोगों के लिए यात्रा शुरू करने की अनुमति दी थी।

लेकिन नैनीताल हाईकोर्ट ने चारधाम यात्रा पर रोक लगा दी और सुप्रीम कोर्ट का निर्देश आने तक के लिए इस रोक को बढ़ाया है। 

राज्य सरकार की अपील सुप्रीम कोर्ट में लंबित होने और वहां से अभी कोई निर्णय न होने एवं राज्य सरकार की यात्रा पर रोक जारी रखने के लिए दी गई सहमति के आधार पर हाईकोर्ट ने ऐसा किया है।

कोर्ट ने राज्य सरकार से पूछा है कि सरकारी अस्पतालों में चिकित्सकों, नर्सों और तकनीकी स्टाफ के कितने पद रिक्त हैं और इन्हें भरने के लिए क्या कदम उठाए गए हैं।
