ऋषिकेश। ऋषिकेश में थाना मुनिकीरेती अंतर्गत बदरीनाथ राजमार्ग स्थित मालाकुंटी में गंगा नदी तट पर सेल्फी खींचने के चक्कर में एक पर्यटक झूला पुल से नीचे गंगा नदी में गिर गया।

पर्यटक के नदी में गिरने से स्थानीय लोगों ने इसकी सूचना थाना मुनिकीरेती पुलिस को दी। मौके पर पहुंची थाना मुनिकीरेती पुलिस और एसडीआरएफ के जवानों ने नदी में सर्च अभियान शुरू कर दिया है। लेकिन पर्यटक का कहीं कुछ पता नहीं चला।

मुनिकीरेती थाना पुलिस ने बताया कि सोमवार दोपहर करीब दो बजे को उन्हें सूचना मिली की मालाकुंटी में कुछ पर्यटक मौजमस्ती की फेर में झूला पुल पर सेल्फी खींच रहे थे। इस दौरान एक पर्यटक का अचानक पैर फिसल गया और वह सीधे गंगा नदी में गिर गया।

नदी का बहाव तेज होने के कारण पर्यटक गंगा में ओझल हो गया। थाना पुलिस ने बताया कि जानकारी के बाद पता चला कि वह अपने जीजा विनोद और दोस्त विक्की निवासी पंजाबी कॉलोनी बुलंदशहर के साथ यहां आया था। इस घटना से जीजा बदहवास हालत में है, वह इस बारे में कुछ भी नहीं बता पा रहा है।
