उत्तराखंड की सीमाओं पर स्थित परिवहन विभाग के चेकपोस्टों पर अब ऑनलाइन टैक्स जमा कराने के साथ ही विभागीय कार्यो के लिए अधिकारियों- कर्मचारियों को परेशानियों से नहीं जूझना होगा। कारण कि परिवहन मुख्यालय ने सभी चेकपोस्टों पर इंटरनेट की सुविधा मुहैया कराए जाने का आदेश जारी किया है।

आरटीओ (प्रवर्तन) संदीप सैनी ने बताया कि सभी चेकपोस्टों को अब इंटरनेट कनेक्टिविटी से जोड़ा जाएगा। इसके लिए मुख्यालय को प्रस्ताव भेजा गया था। मुख्यालय की ओर से सभी चेकपोस्टों पर इंटरनेट की सुविधा मुहैया कराए जाने को लेकर अनुमति दी गई है।

संदीप सैनी ने बताया कि सभी चेपोस्टों पर इंटरनेट की सुविधा होने से ऑनलाइन टैक्स जमा करने के साथ ही अन्य विभागीय कार्यों में किसी भी प्रकार की दिक्कत नहीं होगी। विभागीय कार्यों के निपटारे में भी तेजी आएगी। सूचनाओं का आदान प्रदान भी तेजी से किया जा सकेगा। बता दें कि विभागीय अधिकारी चेकपोस्टों पर इंटरनेट की सुविधा मुहैया कराए जाने की मांग लगातार उठा रहे थे।
