हरिद्वार कुंभ में हुए कोरोना टेस्टिंग जांच घोटाले में कुंभ मेला स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. अर्जुन सिंह सेंगर पर गाज गिरी है। हालांकि, 15 माह पहले कुंभ मेला स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी बने डॉ. अर्जुन सिंह सेंगर का सहायक निदेशक में प्रमोशन हो चुका है। कोरोना जांच फर्जीवाड़े में निलंबन ने उनकी नई पोस्टिंग में दाग लग गया है। एसआईटी भी फर्जीवाड़े की जांच कर रही है। शासन स्तर पर हुई कार्रवाई के बाद एसआईटी जांच को लेकर कइयों की धड़कनें बढ़ गई हैं।

मुख्य विकास अधिकरी सौरभ गहरवार ने 14 अगस्त को दो माह बाद जांच रिपोर्ट नए डीएम विनय शंकर पांडेय को सौंप दी थी। डीएम ने भी जांच रिपोर्ट को शासन को भेज दिया था। अब शासन की तरफ से मई 2020 में कुंभ मेला स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी  बनाए गए डॉ. अर्जुन सिंह सेंगर और फरवरी 2021 में कोरोना जांच के नोडल अधिकारी बनाए गए डॉ. एनके त्यागी को कोरोना टेस्टिंग घोटाले में सस्पेंड कर दिया गया है। इनमें डॉ. अर्जुन सिंह सेंगर का हाल ही में कुंभ मेलाधिकारी के पद पर रहते हुए सहायक निदेशक की पोस्ट पर प्रमोशन भी हो चुका है, लेकिन उन्हें अभी तक कुंभ से मुक्त करते हुए पोस्टिंग नहीं दी गई है।

देहरादून जिले के एसीएमओ डॉ. एनके त्यागी को भी अभी तक नोडल अधिकारी के पद से रिलीव नहीं किया गया है। दूसरी तरफ कोरोना टेस्टिंग की जांच रिपोर्ट खुलने से और भी स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों पर कार्रवाई की तलवार लटक सकती है। अब दोषी पाई गईं लैबों के संचालकों पर और शिकंजा कसा जा सकता है।
