ऋषिकेश। रानीपोखरी जाखन नदी पर वैकल्पिक मार्ग मंगलवार की सुबह बाढ़ में बह जाने के बाद देहरादून जाने के लिए एकमात्र नेपाली फार्म बाया भानियावाला मार्ग का विकल्प शेष रह गया है। इस मार्ग पर जगह-जगह जाम लग गया है।

रानीपोखरी जाखन नदी में 27 अगस्त को बाढ़ आने से 57 वर्ष पूर्व निर्मित पुल बह गया था। मुख्यमंत्री के आदेश पर लोक निर्माण विभाग ऋषिकेश ने यहां पर वैकल्पिक मार्ग का निर्माण कराया था। हालांकि इस मार्ग का डामरीकरण अभी होना बाकी था। ऋषिकेश से देहरादून जाने वाले नागरिकों की समस्या को देखते हुए लोक निर्माण विभाग ने बीती रविवार को यहां छोटे बड़े सभी वाहनों की आवाजाही खोल दी थी। जिससे नागरिकों ने बड़ी राहत महसूस की थी।

मंगलवार की सुबह वैकल्पिक मार्ग बाढ़ में बह गया। उधर घमंडपुर सहित भोगपुर-थानों वैकल्पिक मार्ग भी पानी आने से बंद हो गया है। अब गढ़वाल मंडल और ऋषिकेश से देहरादून जाने के लिए एकमात्र मार्ग नेपाली फार्म बाया भनियावाला होकर उपलब्ध है। इस रोड पर हरिद्वार की ओर से आने वाले वाहनों का भी लोड रहता है। अब रानीपोखरी का वैकल्पिक मार्ग टूट जाने से इस रोड पर ट्रैफिक का लोड डबल हो गया है। श्यामपुर से लेकर नेपाली फार्म और नेपाली फार्म से लेकर भानियावाला तक रुक रुककर जाम लग रहा है। जिससे ऋषिकेश से भानियावाला तक पहुंचने में एक से डेढ़ घंटा लग रहा है।
