पिथौरागढ़ सीमांत जनपद में बेरोजगारी की मार झेल रहे युवा, रोजगार का कोई भी अवसर हाथ से नहीं निकलने देना चाहते। फिर चाहे पद उनकी काबिलीयत के अनुसार हो या न हो, उन्हें इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता। कुछ यहीं स्थिति इन दिनों होमगार्ड कार्यालय के बाहर देखने को मिल रही है। यूं तो होमगार्ड पद के लिए योग्यता पांचवी से हाईस्कूल पास रखी गई है, लेकिन आवेदनकर्ताओं में अधिकतर बीएड, एमएससी डिग्रीधारक शामिल हैं।

आवेदन जमा करने को सुबह से ही बेरोजगारों की कतार कार्यालय के बाहर लग रही है। घंटों इंतजार के बाद आवेदन प्रकिया पूरी हो रही है। जिले में होमगार्ड एवं नागरिक सुरक्षा विभाग की ओर से इन दिनों होमगार्ड के 53 पदों पर आवेदन प्रकिया चल रही है। बीते दस दिनों प्रतिदिन 200 से 250 के बीच बेरोजगार युवा आवेदन को पहुंच रहे हैं। कर्मियों ने बताया कि अब तक दो हजार से अधिक लोग आवेदन कर चुके हैं।

आवेदन का सिलसिला जारी है। उन्होंने बताया आवेदनकर्ताओं में अधिकतर बीएड, एमएससी, स्नातक डिग्री धारक शामिल हैं। जबकि आवदेन के लिए योग्यता पांचवी से लेकर दसवीं पास है, लेकिन दसवीं पास कम और उच्च शिक्षा लिए बेरोजगार अधिक आवेदन को पहुंच रहे हैं।

बेरोजगारी हावी है कुछ तो करना ही है
होमगार्ड पद के लिए आवेदन करने पहुंचे मनीष बिष्ट ने बताया कि वे एमएससी पास हैं। लंबे समय से सरकारी नौकरी की तैयारी कर रहे हैं। लेकिन कहीं कामयाबी नहीं मिल रही। बेरोजगार रहने से अच्छा है कि होमगार्ड बनकर रोजगार से जुड़े।

जिले में 50 हजार से अधिक युवा हैं बेरोजगार
लगातार बढ़ रही बेराजगारी से युवा वर्ग परेशान है। स्थिति यह है कि सेवायोजन कार्यालय में सार दर साल युवा रोजगार की उम्मीद लिए आवेदन करते हैं। लेकिन सरकार की लचर कार्यप्रणाली से रिक्त पदों पर भी नियुक्तियां नहीं हो पाती। विभिन्न सरकारी विभागों में सैकड़ों पद रिक्त हैं। वर्तमान समय में जिले में 50 हजार से अधिक युवा रोजगार की तलाश में इधर-उधर भटक रहे हैं।

आवदेन जमा करने को लगे हैं तीन काउंटर 
बेरोजगारों की भीड़ का अंदाजा इस बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि विभाग को आवेदन जमा करने को तीन-तीन काउंटर लगाने पड़ रहे हैं। सुबह से ही युवाओं का आना शुरू हो रहा है और शाम तक भी कार्यालय के बाहर कतार ही लगी रहती है। आवेदन के लिए बेरोजगार युवाओं के साथ ही कर्मियों के भी पसीने छूछ रहे हैं।

उच्चशिक्षा के साथ ही बीएड भी किया है। लेकिन नौकरी की तलाश अब तक समाप्त नहीं हो सकी है। बेरोजगार रहने से होमगार्ड की ड्यूटी कर रोजगार से जुड़ना बेहतर है।

बेरोजगारी के कारण मानसिक तनाव से जूझ रहे हैं। होमगार्ड के भी 53 पदों पर नियुक्ति होनी है, लेकिन आवेदन हजारों पहुंच गए हैं। आवेदन जमा करने में ही तीन घंटे लग गए।
