मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि दिल्ली और उत्तराखंड में बहुत अंतर है। यहां की भौगोलिक परिस्थितियां बहुत अलग हैं। यहां पर जो पले बढ़े हैं वह भलीभांति जानते हैं कि भाजपा सरकार में यहां कार्य हुआ है। पलायन रोकने और रोजगार के साधन बढ़ाने की दिशा में भाजपा सरकार पहले से ही कार्य कर रही है। जनसभा के बाद मीडिया द्वारा आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक एवं दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल द्वारा हल्द्वानी में दिए बयान कि उनकी पार्टी सत्ता में आते ही उत्तराखंड में रोजगार और पलायन मंत्रालय का गठन करेगी से संबंधित सवाल के जवाब में मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने यह बात कही।

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि भाजपा युवाओं को रोजगार देने के लिए तमाम कार्य करती आई है। कुछ लोग चुनाव के समय सिर्फ कोरी घोषणाएं कर लोगों को बरगलाने का काम करते हैं। धामी ने कहा कि पिछले चुनाव के समय भी कुछ लोगों ने कुछ ऐसी ही घोषणाएं की थीं। चुनाव से ऐन पहले युवाओं को रोजगार कार्ड बांटे गए। स्थिति यह हुई कि रोजगार कार्ड बांटने वाले ही बेरोजगार हो गए।
