नैनीताल: कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय की ओर से उन्नत भारत अभियान के तहत गोद लिए गए सौड़ गांव का विवि की टीम ने शुक्रवार को भ्रमण कर गांव में चल रही गतिविधियों का जायजा लिया। इस दौरान राजकीय माध्यमिक विद्यालय सौड़ में कोरोना जागरूकता पर्यावरण संरक्षण विषय पर चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें बच्‍चों ने बढ़चढ़ कर भाग लिया।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता प्रो. ललित तिवारी ने मानव मूल्यों, कोरोना जागरूकता और पर्यावरण संरक्षण पर प्रकाश डाला गया। समन्वयक उन्नत भारत अभियान डॉ.नीलू लोधियाल व डॉ.सुषमा टम्टा द्वारा कोरोना जागरूकता पर विचार रखे। डॉ. कपिल खुल्बे ने पॉलिथीन के दुष्प्रभाव और पौधों के महत्व के विषय में बताया। डॉ. दीपाक्षी जोशी ने विद्यार्थियों को बताया कि अधिकार के साथ हमें अपने कर्तव्यों का भी पालन करना चाहिए।

चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता में हेमा बिष्ट ने प्रथम, बबिता बिष्ट ने द्वितीय और नितिन कुमार ने तृतीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया, सांत्वना पुरस्कार सात विद्यार्थियों को दिए गए। विद्यालय में विद्यार्थियों के सहयोग से देवदार, सहतूत, तेजपता और अखरोट के पौधे भी रोपित किए गए। कार्यक्रम में प्रधानाचार्य गुड़िया बी दयाल व अन्य अध्यापकों द्वारा सहयोग दिया गया।

उन्नत भारत अभियान के अंतर्गत आर्थिक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण तेजपत्ता, अखरोट एवम सेहतूत के पौधे ग्रामीणों को वितरित किए गए। टीम द्वारा ग्रामीणों की विभिन्न समस्याओं पर भी विचार-विमर्श किया गया और भविष्य में इन्हे दूर करने के लिए कार्ययोजना कनाने का आश्‍वासन दिया गया। कार्यक्रम डॉ.बिजेंद्र लाल, डॉ. नंदन सिंह इंदर रौतेला, जितेंद्र एवम संजय बिनवाल ने विशेष सहयोग किया।
