रामनगर : उत्तराखंड राज्य प्राथमिक शिक्षक संघ की जिला स्तरीय बैठक में प्राथमिक शिक्षक संघ के चुनावों में इस बार मनोज तिवारी को कुमाऊं मंडल से प्रदेश अध्यक्ष का उम्मीदवार बनाए जाने का निर्णय लिया गया। नैनीताल के समस्त ब्लॉक एवं जिला पदाधिकारियों की बीआरसी रामनगर के सभागार में संपन्न जिला स्तरीय बैठक में शिक्षकों की जिले की विभिन्न समस्याओं पर भी चर्चा की गई जिसमें विभाग द्वारा मध्यान्ह भोजन योजना के अंतर्गत पूरे प्रदेश के बच्चों एवं विद्यालयों के खाते केनरा बैंक में खोले जाने का पुरजोर विरोध किया गया।

वक्ताओं ने कहा कि प्रदेश की भौगोलिक स्थितियों तथा केनरा बैंक की सीमित शाखाओं के दृष्टिगत यह निर्णय नितांत अव्यावहारिक है। जिससे अव्यवस्था का माहौल बनेगा। इसके अतिरिक्त बच्चों को निश्शुल्क पाठ्य पुस्तकें पूर्व की भांति विद्यालय में उपलब्ध कराए जाने का प्रस्ताव भी पारित किया गया । वक्ताओं का कहना था कि वर्तमान में धनराशि बच्चों के खाते में दी जा रही है और अभिभावकों को पाठ्य पुस्तकें बाजार से खरीदनी पड़ेगी। इस प्रक्रिया में धन और समय का नुकसान होने के साथ-साथ बाजार में किताबों की उपलब्धता भी परेशानी का सबब बन रही है।
