देहरादून। उत्तराखंड के सरकारी स्कूलों में पकने वाले भोजन की पौष्टिकता और गुणवत्ता की नियमित रूप से जांच की जाएगी। इसके साथ ही हर जिले में छात्रों को दिए जा रहे भोजन और भोजन वितरण के नेटवर्क का सोशल आडिट भी अनिवार्य हो गया है।

बता दें कि करीब डेढ़ साल बाद एक नवंबर से फिर से स्कूलों में भोजन बनना शुरू हो रहा है। इस योजना का नाम अब पीएम पोषण शक्ति निर्माण हो गया है। संयुक्त निदेशक पीएम पोषण पीके बिष्ट ने बताया कि सभी अधिकारियों को एक नवंबर से पका हुआ भोजन देने के निर्देश दे दिए गए हैं।

वर्तमान में पहली से आठवीं तक छात्रों की संख्या 6.97 लाख हो चुकी है। इस साल सरकारी स्कूलों में 30 हजार से ज्यादा नए छात्रों ने एडमिशन लिया हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि एक नवंबर से भत्ते के स्थान पर पका हुआ भोजन ही मिलेगा। स्कूल में भोजन न पकने की स्थिति में ही भत्ता दिया जाएगा।
