पंजाब कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू, मुख्यमंत्री चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी, प्रदेश प्रभारी हरीश चौधरी और विधानसभा अध्यक्ष केपी राणा आज मंगलवार को अचानक हरीश रावत से मिलने उत्तराखंड पहुंचे।

जानकारी के अनुसार, हरीश रावत से मुलाकात के बाद ये सभी केदारनाथ धाम जाएंगे। वहां पूजा-अर्चना के बाद दोपहर बाद वे वापस देहरादून लौटेंगे। कहा जा रहा है कि इसके बाद वे दून में प्रेसवार्ता भी कर सकते हैं।

हरीश रावत ने हाल ही में छोड़ा था पंजाब कांग्रेस प्रभारी का पद
बता दें कि हाल ही में उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत को पार्टी हाईकमान ने राष्ट्रीय महासचिव और पंजाब कांग्रेस प्रभारी के दायित्व से मुक्त कर दिया था। हालांकि वे कांग्रेस कार्यसमिति (सीडब्ल्यूसी) के सदस्य बने रहेंगे। हरीश रावत ने पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को पत्र लिखकर इस संबंध में अनुरोध किया था। हरीश रावत का कहना था कि  राज्य में आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव की तैयारी पर अब वे पूरी तरह फोकस कर पाएंगे।
