नैनीताल : नैनीताल हाई कोर्ट ने उत्तर प्रदेश के बाहुबली नेता पूर्व सांसद डीपी यादव को रिहा करने के आदेश पारित किए हैं। साथ ही सीबीआई अदालत का आदेश निरस्त कर दिया है। पूर्व सांसद समेत तीन अन्य को गाजियाबाद के विधायक महेंद्र भाटी की हत्या मामले में देहरादून की सीबीआई कोर्ट द्वारा आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई गई थी।

बुधवार को मुख्य न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति आरएस चौहान व न्यायमूर्ति आलोक कुमार वर्मा की खंडपीठ में पूर्व सांसद डीपी यादव की अपील फैसला सुनाया। कोर्ट ने निचली अदालत के आदेश को निरस्त करते हुए उनके खिलाफ कोई ठोस सबूत नही पाते हुए उन्हें बाइज्जत रिहा कर दिया है। डीपी यादव अभी अतंरिम जमानत पर भी हैं। कोर्ट ने इस हत्याकांड के अन्य आरोपियों की अपीलों में निर्णय सुरक्षित रखा है।

दरअसल 13 सितम्बर 1992 को गाजियाबाद के विधायक रहे महेंद्र भाटी की दिनदहाड़े गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी थी। इस मामले में डीपी यादव, परनीत भाटी, करन यादव व पाल सिंह उर्फ लक्कड़ पाला पर हत्या का मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया था। 15 फरवरी 2015 को की सीबीआई कोर्ट ने चारों हत्यारों को आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई थी। इस आदेश के खिलाफ चारों अभियुक्तों द्वारा विशेष अपील के माध्यम से हाई कोर्ट में चुनौती दी गयी है।
