देहरादून। दून नगर निगम ने भवन कर वसूली को लेकर वार्डों में शिविर का नया कार्यक्रम जारी किया है। इसमें गुरुवार 11 नवंबर से 23 नवंबर तक कुल 11 स्थान पर शिविर लगेंगे। खास यह है कि इस बार शिविर में डिजिटल माध्यम से भी भवन कर भुगतान किया जा सकेगा। हर शिविर में एक-एक पीओएस मशीन को रखने के आदेश दिए गए हैं। सुबह 11 बजे से दोपहर तीन बजे तक शिविर में कर जमा किया सकता है। वार्ड की कोई बाध्यता न रहे, इसके लिए शिविर में आसपास से कोई भी भवन स्वामी अपने भवन का कर जमा कर सकता है।

कोरोना काल के बाद से नगर निगम की भवन कर वसूली में काफी कमी आई है। पिछले वित्तीय वर्ष में निगम को करीब 12 करोड़ रुपये का नुकसान हुआ था। कोरोना से पहले वर्ष 2019-20 में निगम ने भवन कर की मद में 50 करोड़ का लक्ष्य पार कर लिया था, लेकिन 2020-21 में यह लक्ष्य 38 करोड़ पर सिमट गया। अब निगम इस वित्तीय वर्ष में फिर 50 करोड़ के लक्ष्य को पार करना चाह रहा। अप्रैल से अब तक निगम में 18 करोड़ रुपये भवन कर जमा हो चुका है, जबकि निगम दिसंबर तक 30 करोड़ का लक्ष्य पार करना चाह रहा। ऐसे में महापौर सुनील उनियाल गामा ने वार्डों में भवन कर वसूली शिविर लगाने का आदेश दिया है। भवन कर अधीक्षक धर्मेश पैन्यूली ने इसी क्रम में मंगलवार को 11 शिविर का कार्यक्रम जारी किया।
