देहरादून। दून में अन्य जिलों से कुरियर के जरिये मादक पदार्थ लाकर बेच रही दो सगी बहनों को पटेलनगर पुलिस ने पकड़ लिया। आरोपित बहनें उत्तरकाशी की रहने वाली हैं और ज्यादा पैसा कमाने के लालच में नशे के कारोबार में लिप्त हो गईं। दोनों करीब दो साल से दून के नेहरू कालोनी क्षेत्र में सरस्वती विहार में किराये पर रह रही थीं। पुलिस ने दोनों को कोर्ट में पेश कर जेल भेज दिया है।

पटेलनगर कोतवाली के एसएसआइ कुंदन राम ने बताया कि मंगलवार को उन्हें ब्राह्मणवाला क्षेत्र में दो नशा तस्करों के सक्रिय होने की सूचना मिली। इस पर उन्होंने एसआइ विनयता चौहान के नेतृत्व में एक टीम को क्षेत्र में चेकिंग के लिए भेजा। इस टीम ने देर रात स्कूटी सवार दो युवतियों को रोककर तलाशी ली तो उनके पास एक पैकेट मिला। युवतियों ने ये पैकेट कुरियर का बताया।

शक होने पर पुलिस ने पैकेट खोला तो उसमें 320 प्रतिबंधित नशीली गोलियां और 150 ग्राम चरस बरामद हुई। पुलिस ने दोनों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उनके खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट में मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया। युवतियों की पहचान स्वाति राणा और प्रीति राणा के रूप में हुई।
