देहरादून। गांवों को पर्यटन से जोड़ आजीविका के नए अवसर सृजित कर आत्मनिर्भरता की ओर कदम बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से उत्तराखंड में चल रही होम स्टे की पहल देश को नई राह दिखाएगी। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी स्वयं होम स्टे योजना की सराहना कर चुके हैं। अब प्रधानमंत्री की मौजूदगी में वाराणसी में होने वाले सीएम कान्क्लेव में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी इस योजना पर प्रस्तुतीकरण देंगे। साफ है कि इससे अन्य राज्य भी प्रेरित होंगे और उत्तराखंड उनका मार्गदर्शन करेगा।

उत्तराखंड में पर्यटन आर्थिकी का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम है। सामान्य परिस्थितियों में प्रतिवर्ष यहां साढ़े तीन करोड़ के लगभग सैलानी और तीर्थयात्री आते हैं। अब जबकि पर्यटन व तीर्थाटन के क्षेत्र में आधारभूत सुविधाओं के विकास में तेजी लाई गई है तो आने वाले समय में पर्यटकों का दबाव बढ़ेगा। इसी हिसाब से उनके रहने की सुविधाएं विकसित की जानी हैं। इसके मद्देनजर प्रदेश में दीनदयाल उपाध्याय गृह आवास (होम स्टे) योजना की शुरुआत की गई है।

यह है होम स्टे योजना

योजना के अंतर्गत गांवों में घरों को होम स्टे में बदलने के लिए सरकार मदद कर रही है। शर्त यही है कि होम स्टे स्वामी स्वयं वहां रहेगा और पर्यटक पेइंग गेस्ट के रूप में। उन्हें उत्तराखंड के व्यंजन परोसे जाएंगे तो यहां की सांस्कृतिक विरासत से भी परिचित कराया जाएगा। पिछले पांच वर्ष में योजना में पांच हजार होम स्टे के लक्ष्य के सापेक्ष अब तक 3759 तैयार हो चुके हैं। बड़ी संख्या में लोग इनमें रह रहे हैं। कोरोनाकाल में तो ये वर्क स्टेशन के रूप में भी उभरे। होम स्टे को बढ़ावा देने के मद्देनजर सरकार इस सिलसिले में दी जाने वाली सब्सिडी 10 से बढ़ाकर 15 लाख रुपये कर चुकी है।

पीएम से मिल चुकी है वाहवाही

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने पूर्व में मन की बात कार्यक्रम में यहां की होम स्टे की पहल को सराहा था। इसके बाद पांच नवंबर को केदारनाथ में आदि शंकराचार्य की प्रतिमा के लोकार्पण समारोह और फिर चार दिसंबर को देहरादून में 18 हजार करोड़ की योजनाओं के शिलान्यास व लोकार्पण कार्यक्रम में उन्होंने इसकी सराहना की थी। तब उन्होंने कहा था कि होम स्टे बनाने में उत्तराखंड देश को दिशा दिखा सकता है। ऐसे प्रयास उत्तराखंड को आत्मनिर्भर बनाएंगे।

आज धामी देंगे प्रस्तुतीकरण

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की उपस्थिति में वाराणसी में मंगलवार को सीएम कान्क्लेव में मुख्यमंत्री धामी होम स्टे योजना के संबंध में ‘होम स्टे, देश का अनूठा प्रयोग’ विषय पर प्रस्तुतीकरण देंगे। इसके साथ ही वह राज्य के उत्तरकाशी, चमोली, टिहरी, बागेश्वर, पिथौरागढ़ जिलों के सीमांत 73 गांवों में शुरू की गई ट्रैकिंग ट्रक्शन योजना की जानकारी दी भी देंगे। इसके अंतर्गत ट्रैकिंग रूट पर पड़ने वाले इन गांवों में होम स्टे की तर्ज पर सुविधाएं विकसित की जा रही हैं।
