देहरादून। नगर निगम सालिड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट प्लांट के बाद अब अपना पहला एमआरएफ (मैटेरियल रिकवरी फैसिलिटी) सेंटर बनाने की तैयारी कर रहा। कारगी में छह माह में बनने वाले इस सेंटर की जिम्मेदारी मैसर्स सनलाइट को दी गई है, जो अभी 15 वार्ड में कूड़ा उठान का कार्य कर रही। सेंटर बनने के बाद उक्त 15 वार्डों का कूड़ा शीशमबाड़ा प्लांट भेजने के बजाए यहीं पर निस्तारित होगा और नगर निगम को कूड़ा निस्तारण पर हर महीने आ रहे खर्च में बचत होगी। एमआरएफ सेंटर में कंपोस्ट खाद बनाई जाएगी। इसके साथ ही कूड़े के अलावा पालीथिन, कागज और लोहा आदि का पृथकीकरण कर उसे अलग से री-साइकिल किया जाएगा।

शहर में शत फीसद कूड़ा निस्तारण करना नगर निगम की बड़ी समस्या है। अभी तक नगर निगम का सालिड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट प्लांट शीशमबाड़ा सेलाकुई में काम कर रहा। यहां 98 वार्डों का कूड़ा निस्तारण किया जा रहा, जबकि बाकी दो वार्डों में कलस्टर के तहत संस्थाओं को कूड़ा एकत्र कर निस्तारण की जिम्मेदारी मिली हुई है। शहर में तीन कंपनी कूड़ा उठान कर रहीं।

चेन्नई एमएसडब्लू के जिम्मे 69 वार्ड हैं, जबकि मैसर्स सनलाइट के पास 15 और मैसर्स भार्गव के पास 14 वार्ड की जिम्मेदारी है। मैसर्स सनलाइट एवं मैसर्स भार्गव के साथ निगम ने अक्टूबर में अनुबंध किया है। इसके अंतर्गत अगले छह माह के भीतर इन दोनों कंपनियों को अपने एमआरएफ सेंटर बनाने हैं। इसके लिए नगर निगम इन्हें जमीन उपलब्ध कराएगा। मैसर्स सनलाइट को निगम ने कारगी में जमीन की उपलब्धता करा दी है। इस जमीन में पहले काफी कूड़ा एकत्रित था, जिसे सनलाइट के जरिये उठवाकर शीशमबाड़ा प्लांट में भेजा गया।

निगम को कूड़ा कारगी से शीशमबाड़ा ले जाना काफी महंगा पड़ रहा। ऐसे में वरिष्ठ नगर स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डा. आरके सिंह ने मैसर्स सनलाइट को अप्रैल तक एमआरएफ सेंटर बनाने को कहा है। डा. सिंह ने बताया कि प्लाट पूरी तरह साफ हो गया है व वहां पड़ने वाले कूड़े को तत्काल शीशमबाड़ा में भेजा जा रहा। अब एमआरएफ सेंटर बनाने को सिर्फ मशीनों के आने का इंतजार किया जा रहा। इसमें कंपोस्ट खाद बनाने के साथ ही अन्य मशीनें शामिल हैं। मैसर्स सनलाइट के एमडी सूर्य प्रकाश फरासी ने बताया कि मशीनों के आर्डर दे दिए गए हैं। सेंटर बनाने में करीब डेढ़ करोड़ की लागत आएगी, जो कंपनी खुद वहन करेगी।
