हल्द्वानी : परिवहन निगम में स्थायी नियुक्ति और समान कार्य-समान वेतन की मांग को लेकर उत्तराखंड रोडवेज संविदा और विशेष श्रेणी कर्मचारी संगठन से जुड़े लोग बुधवार रात 12 बजे बाद हड़ताल पर चले गए। ऐसे में सुबह से ही बसों के संचालन में दिक्कत आ गई। दिल्ली समेत कई स्थानीय रूटों पर बसों में सीट पाने के लिए सवारियों को खासी मशक्कत करनी पड़ी।

कुमाऊं रीजन के अधिकांश डिपो में सुबह ही बसों के नंबर कट गए। यानी चालक-परिचालक के अभाव में डिपो और वर्कशाप से गाडिय़ां बाहर ही निकली। उत्तराखंड रोडवेज संविदा और विशेष श्रेणी कर्मचारी संगठन से जुड़े लोग लंबे समय से स्थायी नियुक्ति और समान कार्य-समान वेतन की मांग को लेकर आंदोलन कर रहे थे। पूर्व में दिए गए धरने और नोटियों के बाद मांगों को लेकर आश्वासन मिला तो हड़ताल का फैसला रद्द कर दिया गया था। लेकिन तय समय पर भी मांग को लेकर कोई लिखित आदेश नहीं आ सका।

ऐसे में संगठन ने 15 दिसंबर की रात 12 बजे से कार्य बहिष्कार कर हड़ताल का ऐलान कर दिया। जिस वजह से रोडवेज की व्यवस्था गड़बड़ाने लग गई। रोडवेज कर्मचारियों के मुताबिक काठगोदाम डिपो से सिर्फ नैनीताल रूट को बसें गई। अन्य मार्गों पर सुबह की शिफ्ट में बसों को रवाना नहीं किया जा सका। वहीं, हल्द्वानी डिपो की स्थिति भी ऐसी थी। जिस वजह से कुमाऊं के सबसे बड़े बस अड्डे में यात्री परेशान नजर आए। अगर हड़ताल लंबी खींची तो दिक्कत और बढ़ेगी।
