पुरोला में मोरी ब्लॉक के गोविंद वन्य जीव विहार क्षेत्र के केदारकांठा में करीब पांच फीट बर्फ पड़ी हुई है। इस ट्रेक पर ट्रैकिंग बंद कर दी गई है। महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात, दिल्ली, अहमदाबाद से आए करीब 120 पर्यटक बिना ट्रेक किए ही वापस चले गए हैं। हरकीदून प्रोटेक्शन एंड माउंनटेनिरिंग एसोसिएशन के सचिव चैन सिंह रावत ने यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि करीब 150 पर्यटक अभी भी सांकरी में ही कैंप किए हुए हैं।

भारी बर्फबारी के कारण सांकरी जखोल, सांकरी तालुका मोटर मार्ग यातायात हेतु अवरुद्ध हो गया है। चार गांव ओसला, पंवाणी, ढाटमीर, गंगाड़ व जखोल न्याय पंचायत के लिवाड़ी फिताड़ी, रेक्चा, कांसला, हरीपुर का भारी हिमपात के कारण तहसील मुख्यालय मोरी से संपर्क कट गया है।
