पिथौरागढ़ : उत्तराखण्ड चुनाव 2022 : प्रदेश में 14 फरवरी को मतदान होना है। इधर, शीतकाल चरम पर है। बारिश व हिमपात का क्रम यूं ही जारी रहा तो सीमांत पिथौरागढ़ जिले 36 बर्फीले मतदान केंद्रों तक पहुंचना भी एक चुनौती होगी। इन इलाकों में करीब सात हजार वोटर हैं। पोलिंग पार्टियों को 2200 से 2400 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर बर्फ से ढके बूथों पर ड्यूटी करनी होगी। प्रशासन के लिए मतदाताओं को बूथ तक लाना भी चुनौती रहेगा। यहां फरवरी की रातें माइनस चार से दस डिग्री सेल्सियस तापमान वाली होती हैं।

नामिक मतदान केंद्र तक पहुंचना सबसे अधिक मुश्किल

2400 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित नामिक मतदान केंद्र तक पहुंचना सबसे मुश्किल रहता है। लगभग इसी ऊंचाई बौना व गोल्फा भी हैं। 2200 मीटर से 2400 मीटर ऊंचाई के बीच के मतदान केंद्रों की संख्या 14 है। 425 मतदाताओं वाले नामिक केंद्र के लिए तो मतदान पार्टी को वाया बागेश्वर भेजना पड़ता है। पिथौरागढ़ जिले से रवानगी पर 25 किमी का बर्फ से लकदक पैदल रास्ता है। जबकि बागेश्वर के गोगिना से नौ किमी पैदल चलकर मतदान पार्टी नामिक पहुंचती है।

2007 में युवा टीम को तैनात किया था प्रशासन ने

2007 के विधानसभा चुनाव के दौरान भी मौसम बेहद प्रतिकूल रहा था। तब 36 मतदान केंद्र बर्फ से लकदक थे। प्रशासन ने इन मतदान केंद्रों पर युवा मतदान कर्मी तैनात किए थे।
