टिहरी। प्रतापनगर विधानसभा से सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता व आम आदमी पार्टी के युवा नेता सागर भंडारी ने पार्टी के समक्ष अपनी दावेदारी पेश की है। उन्होंने कहा है कि पहाड़ के पानी और पहाड़ की जवानी मे अपार संभावनाएं हैं। इनका सदुपयोग् निश्चित रूप से पहाड़ के विकास मे एक नींव का पत्थर साबित होगा।

बांध प्रभावितों की विभिन्न माँगो को लेकर आंदोलनरत रहे 
पिछले कुछ समय से प्रतापनगर की राजनीति मे एक खास पहचान बनाने वाले युवा सागर भंडारी तब चर्चाओं मे आए जब पुनर्वास एवं विस्थापन् की माँगो को लेकर  डोबरा चांठी पुल पर रौलाकोट के ग्रामीणों के साथ आंदोलनरत थे और सागर ने पुल से गुजर रहे वन मंत्री हरक सिंह रावत का काफिला रोक कर वापस लौटा दिया साथ ही मंत्री को घूम कर स्यान्शू भैंगा होकर जाना पड़ा। दो दिन बाद एक बार फिर पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत और कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता प्रीतम सिंह सहित तमाम नेताओं की रैली को रोककर उनके विरोध मे नारे लगवाए। सागर भंडारी सहित 45 लोगों पर पुलिस द्वारा संगीन आपराधिक धाराओं मे मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया । उसके बाद फिर उन्होंने मुड़ कर नहीं देखा और एक के बाद एक मुकदमे उनपर विभिन्न आंदोलनों मे दर्ज होने लगे और जेल भी जाना पड़ा।

सागर भंडारी प्रतापनगर के युवाओं और महिलाओं मे आंदोलन के जरिए अच्छी पकड़ रखते हैं। ऐसे मे यह देखना दिलचस्प होगा कि किस प्रकार पार्टी उन पर दांव खेलकर युवाओं और महिलाओं के जरिए अन्य पार्टीयों के लिए मुसीबत का सबब बनने का काम कर सकती है।
