हल्द्वानी : सुशीला तिवारी अस्पताल से कोरोना संक्रमित दुष्कर्म का आरोपित फरार हो गया। ड्यूटी में लापरवाही बरतने पर एसएसपी पंकज भट्ट ने दो सिपाहियों को निलंबित कर दिया है। सीसीटीवी फुटेज से फरार आरोपित की तलाश की जा रही है। बताया जा रहा है कि सुबह आरोपी बाथरूम जाने के बहाने वाशरूम में गया। जहां से वह फरार हो गया।

12 जनवरी को एक किशोरी ने बनभूलपुरा थाने में रवीश पर दुष्कर्म का मुकदमा दर्ज कराया था। आरोप था कि युवक ने उसके साथ दुष्कर्म किया। एसएसपी पंकज भट्ट ने बताया कि आरोपित को 13 जनवरी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया था। कोविड जांच कराने पर उसकी रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई। आरोपित को पुलिस निगरानी में सुशीला तिवारी अस्पताल में क्वारन्टीन किया गया था।

मंगलवार की सुबह आरोपी रवीश पेशाब करने के बहाने वाशरूम में गया। जहां से वह फरार हो गया। आरोपित के वापस नहीं लौटने पर पुलिस हरकत में आई। एसएसपी पंकज भट्ट ने बताया कि ड्यूटी में लापरवाही बरतने पर कांस्टेबल ललित मेहरा व महेश बृजवाल को निलंबित कर दिया है। आरोपित की तलाश में चार टीमें गठित कर दी गई है। सीओ सिटी भूपेंद्र सिंह धोनी को मामले की जांच सौंपी है। उन्होंने बताया कि आरोपित का भाई सोमवार को उससे मिलने पहुंचा था। उससे भी पूछताछ की जा रही है।
