रुड़की। हरिद्वार जिले के रुड़की में सिविल लाइन कोतवाली क्षेत्र के भंगेड़ी महावतपुर गांव में प्राचीन हनुमान मंदिर का ताला तोड़कर दानपात्र चोरी कर लिया गया है। इस घटना के बाद से ग्रामीणों में आक्रोश है। फिलहाल, सूचना पर पुलिस ने एक दूसरे समुदाय के युवक को हिरासत में लिया है और उससे पूछताछ की जा रही है।

रुड़की से भंगेड़ी की ओर जाने वाले रास्ते पर प्राचीन हनुमान मंदिर है। आजकल यहां पर पानी की पाइप लाइन बिछाने के चलते खुदाई का काम चल रहा है। इसकी वजह से आवागमन भी कम है। रात करीब दस बजे मंदिर में श्रद्धालु पूजा-पाठ करने के बाद अपने घर चले गए। इसी बीच रात को किसी समय चोरों ने पहले तो मंदिर के मुख्य गेट का ताला तोड़ा और फिर मंदिर के अंदर घुस कर दानपात्र का ताला तोड़ दिया। वे दान पात्र लेकर मौसम फरार हो गए।

सुबह जब पुजारी मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना करने पहुंचे तो मंदिर का ताला टूटा हुआ देखा। उन्होंने इसकी सूचना ग्रामीणों को दी। इस पर बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण मौके पर पहुंच गए। ग्रामीणों ने मंदिर में चोरी को लेकर बेहद आक्रोश जताया।

वहीं, पुलिस ने इस मामले में एक दूसरे समुदाय के युवक को हिरासत में लिया है। उससे पूछताछ की जा रही है। कोतवाली प्रभारी निरीक्षक देवेंद्र सिंह चौहान ने बताया कि इस मामले में जांच-पड़ताल की जा रही है। अभी तक तहरीर नहीं मिली है। मुकदमा दर्ज कर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
