उच्च हिमालयी क्षेत्रों और निचले क्षेत्रों में कई दिनों तक मौसम के खुलने से लोगों ने राहत की सांस ली है। हालांकि अब इन क्षेत्रों में हिमस्खलन का खतरा बढ़ गया है। शनिवार को राजधानी देहरादून सहित राज्य के अन्य इलाकों में मौसम साफ बना रहा। सुबह से ही चटख धूप खिली रही। मौसम साफ होने से लोगों से कड़ाके की ठंड से राहत मिल रही है।

भारी हिमपात से बढ़ा हिमस्खलन का खतरा
लगातार एक सप्ताह तक बर्फबारी के बाद पिथौरागढ़ जनपद के हिमालयी क्षेत्र में अब हिमस्खलन का खतरा बढ़ गया है। शुक्रवार को धारचूला के नपलच्यू गांव के ठीक सामने भारी हिमस्खलन हुआ। हालांकि गांव से लगभग 50 मीटर दूर नाले में बर्फ गिरने से मकानों को किसी तरह की क्षति नहीं पहुंची है। 

जिले के धारचूला और मुनस्यारी के ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में हर साल जनवरी-फरवरी में भारी हिमपात होता है। इसके बाद धूप पड़ते ही ताजा बर्फ खिसकने लगती है। पिछले एक सप्ताह तक खराब मौसम के दौरान धारचूला के व्यास और दारमा घाटियों के गांवों में भारी बर्फबारी हुई है। गुंजी से लेकर कुटी तक दो से चार फुट तक हिमपात हुआ।

गुरुवार से धूप निकलने से अब ताजा बर्फ खिसकने लगी है। एसएसबी सूत्रों के अनुसार शुक्रवार को नपलच्यू गांव के ठीक सामने पहाड़ी पर हिमस्खलन हुआ। भारी मात्रा में हिमस्खलन के कारण गांव के ठीक सामने नाले में भारी मात्रा में बर्फ जमा हो गई। इन दिनों सभी ग्रामीण प्रवास पर धारचूला में हैं। हिमस्खलन का घटनास्थल गांव से लगभग 50 मीटर की दूरी पर होने से घरों को किसी तरह का नुकसान नहीं पहुंचा है। 

मौसम खुशगवार होने से पर्यटकों की चहल-पहल बढ़ी
उच्च हिमालयी क्षेत्रों और निचले क्षेत्रों में कई दिनों तक मौसम के खुलने से लोगों ने राहत की सांस ली है। मौसम के साफ होने के बाद मुनस्यारी क्षेत्र में बढ़ी संख्या में पर्यटक पहुंच रहे हैं। मौसम के खुलने के बाद बाजार में भी रौनक रही।

उच्च हिमालयी क्षेत्र में पिछले कई दिनों से हंसलिंग, राजरंभा, पंचाचूली, नागिनधूरा सहित कई हिस्सों में जमकर बर्फबारी हुई है। शुक्रवार को आसमान पूरी तरह से साफ रहा। दिन में धूप खिलने से हिमालय की चोटियां बर्फ से ढंकी नजर आईं। बर्फ देखने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक मुनस्यारी के खलिया, भुजानी, कालामुनि में आ रहे हैं।

मौसम खुलने के बाद मुनस्यारी का अधिकतम तापमान 12 डिग्री और न्यूनतम तीन डिग्री दर्ज किया गया। धारचूला ब्लॉक के उच्च हिमालयी क्षेत्र दारमा, व्यास, चौंदास घाटी में जमकर हिमपात हुआ है। बीआरओ भारी बर्फबारी से बंद सड़कों को खोलने का प्रयास कर रहा है।
