राजकीय जिला अस्पताल के कोरोनेशन विंग में डॉक्टर-फार्मेसिस्ट से मारपीट के आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी न होने पर सोमवार को डॉक्टरों की बैठक हुई। बैठक में आज दाेपहर 12 बजे से कोरोनेशन अस्पताल में ओपीडी कार्य बहिष्कार करने का फैसला लिया गया है। 

उन्होंने चेतावनी दी है कि अगर सोमवार शाम तक आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी नहीं हुई तो मंगलवार से जिले भर के सरकारी अस्पतालों में सेवाओं का बहिष्कार किया जाएगा। वहीं कोरोनेशन में ओपीडी कार्य बहिष्कार के बाद से मरीजों की मुसीबत बढ़ गई है। ओपीडी बंद होने पर करीब एक घंटे से ज्यादा समय तक कावली रोड निवासी सोनू इलाज के लिए इमरजेंसी के बाहर स्ट्रक्चर पर लेटे रहे।

पीएमएचएस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष डॉ. मनोज वर्मा ने बताया कि पुलिस ने आरोपियों की जल्द गिरफ्तारी का आश्वासन दिया था। अब पुलिस कह रही है कि तहरीर में आरोपियों के नाम नहीं लिखे गए हैं। इसलिए आरोपियों का पता लगाया जा रहा है। इसके लिए सीसीटीवी फुटेज और अन्य तरीके से भी छानबीन की जा रही है। डॉ. वर्मा ने कहा कि अगर पूरे प्रदेश में चिकित्सा और स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं बंद भी करनी पड़ी तो पीछे नहीं हटेंगे।

वहीं राजकीय संयुक्त उपजिला चिकित्सालय, श्रीनगर गढ़वाल में इस घटना के विरोध में आज काली पट्टी बांध कर शांति पूर्वक विरोध प्रकट किया गया। 

यह था मामला 
गुरुरात राजपुर थाना क्षेत्र स्थित एक नशा मुक्ति केंद्र में भर्ती व्यक्ति की संदिग्ध हालात में मौत हो गई थी। केंद्र के संचालकों ने रात को इस व्यक्ति को कोरोनेशन अस्पताल पहुंचाया था। जहां डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित किया था। सूचना पाकर परिजन भी अस्पताल पहुंचे थे। परिजनों का आरोप था कि डॉक्टरों ने उनके मरीज को देखने में लापरवाही की है, जिसके चलते उसकी मौत हुई। इस बात को लेकर खूब हंगामा किया। इमरजेंसी में तैनात डॉक्टर और फार्मेसिस्ट के साथ मारपीट की गई। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने किसी तरह बीच बचाव कर मामला शांत कराया।

दूसरे दिन शुक्रवार को सुबह जैसे ही डॉक्टरों और फार्मेसिस्ट समेत अन्य स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों को इसकी जानकारी लगी तो वह आक्रोशित हो गए। कोरोनेशन समेत जिले के विभिन्न सरकारी अस्पतालों में ओपीडी सेवाएं ठप कर दी र्गईं। इससे इलाज के लिए पहुंचे मरीजों को बिना उपचार के लौटना पड़ा। अस्पताल के कार्यवाहक प्रमुख चिकित्सा अधीक्षक की तहरीर पर डालनवाला पुलिस ने मुकदमा दर्ज कर मारपीट के आरोपियों की जल्द गिरफ्तारी का आश्वासन दिया। जिस पर दोपहर एक बजे बाद डॉक्टरों और अन्य स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों ने कार्य बहिष्कार वापस ले लिया था।
