केंद्रीय सड़क सुरक्षा राज्य मंत्री एवं पूर्व थल सेना अध्यक्ष जनरल वीके सिंह ने कहा कि देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में केंद्र सरकार का पहला लक्ष्य देश की सीमाओं की सुरक्षा करना है। इसके लिए सीमाओं की सुरक्षा करने वाले सैनिकों, सुरक्षा उपकरणों, आधुनिक तकनीकी के हथियारों, आधुनिक लड़ाकू विमान व सबमरीन को आधुनिक तकनीकी से परिपूर्ण किया गया है।

भाजपा ने भूतपूर्व सैनिकों का सम्मान बढ़ाया
वीके सिंह ने कहा कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार ने 70 सालों से लंबित वन रैंक वन पेंशन देकर भूतपूर्व सैनिकों का सम्मान बढ़ाया है। वहीं देश पर मर मिटने वाले वीर सैनिकों के आंगन की मिट्टी ले जाकर देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की राजधानी देहरादून में पांचवें धाम सैन्यधाम का निर्माण करना हम सब के लिए गर्व की बात है। मंगलवार को जोशीमठ के खेल स्टेडियम में भारतीय जनता पार्टी के प्रत्याशी महेंद्र भट्ट के समर्थन में चुनावी जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए जनरल वीके सिंह ने यह बात की।

वहीं उन्होंने कहा कि दूसरी ओर इन पाचं सालों में केंद्र सरकार द्वारा ऋषिकेश से गंगोत्री, यमुनोत्री, केदारनाथ व बदरीनाथ धाम की यात्रा सुगम में हो इसके लिए हमने ऑल वेदर रोड का निर्माण किया है। हमने देश की सीमाओं को सुरक्षित करने के लिए भारतमाला के तहत जोशीमठ से नीति पास व पास माना पास की सड़कों का चौड़ीकरण किया। कहा कि जब हमारी देश की सीमाएं सुरक्षित होंगी तो देश सुरक्षित रहेगा।

भारतीय जनता पार्टी की करनी और कथनी में कोई अंतर नहीं होता है। वहीं विपक्षी कांग्रेस पार्टी 60 साल तक राज करती रही, लेकिन देश की मूलभूत सुविधाओं से जनता को महरूम रखा। हमारा प्रयास देश की आर्थिकी को बढ़ाना और देश को समृद्ध करना व शक्तिशाली राष्ट्र के निर्माण के लिए हम संकल्पकृत हैं।
