प्रदेश के ज्यादातर क्षेत्रों में धूप खिली हुई है, लेकिन उत्तरकाशी, चमोली, रुद्रप्रयाग, बागेश्वर, पिथौरागढ़ जिलों में कुछ स्थानों पर हल्के बादल छाये रह सकते हैं। इसके अलावा बहुत हल्की से हल्की बारिश और गर्जन के साथ बौछारें भी पड़ सकती है। अन्य इलाकों में मौसम साफ रहने की संभावना है।
राज्य मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के निदेशक बिक्रम सिंह के मुताबिक ताजा पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के उत्तराखंड में दस्तक देने के कारण शुक्रवार को पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में मौसम का मिजाज बदल सकता है। इस दौरान उत्तरकाशी, रुद्रप्रयाग, चमोली, बागेश्वर और पिथौरागढ़ में कहीं-कहीं हल्की बारिश और हिमपात के आसार हैं। जबकि, अन्य जिलों में मौसम शुष्क बना रह सकता है।
लगातार करवट ले रहे मौसम के मिजाज को देखते हुए अभी फिलहाल कुछ दिन और लोगों को ठंड से राहत मिलने की उम्मीद कम है। बीते एक सप्ताह से ज्यादातर इलाकों में आसमान साफ है और चटख धूप खिल रही है। जिससे तापमान में भी इजाफा होने लगा है, लेकिन पर्वतीय जिलों में ठंड से लोगों को बहुत राहत नहीं मिली।
