उत्तराखंड में दूसरे राज्य का वाहन चला रहे हैं तो सावधान हो जाइए। एमवी ऐक्ट के मुताबिक ऐसे वाहन को एक साल के भीतर संबंधित राज्य से ट्रांसफर करवाना जरूरी है।नहीं तो चालान हो सकता है। दून में कई केंद्रीय संस्थान और ऐसी कंपनियां हैं, जिनके दफ्तर दूसरे राज्यों में भी हैं। ऐसे संस्थानों के कर्मचारियों का जब ट्रांसफर होता है तो वह अपने वाहन लेकर आ जाते हैं, लेकिन वाहन ट्रांसफर नहीं करवाते।

यह है टैक्स फार्मूला: उत्तराखंड में पांच लाख तक वाले वाहन पर 8 फीसदी, पांच से दस लाख के वाहन पर 9 और 10 लाख से ज्यादा कीमत वाले वाहन पर 10 फीसदी टैक्स है। अगर 6.30 लाख कीमत की 2010 मॉडल की कार दूसरे राज्य में पंजीकृत होने के बाद उत्तराखंड में ट्रांसफर करवाने पर मौजूदा वर्ष के हिसाब से रोड टैक्स 56,700 रुपये होगा। इस पर पांच फीसदी प्रतिशत के हिसाब से पिछले 12 साल का टैक्स जमा होने की वजह से 60 फीसदी छूट मिलेगी। यानी सिर्फ 22680 रुपये जमा करने होंगे। साथ ही एक हजार रुपये उत्तराखंड नंबर, 520 रुपये एड्रेस चेंज, 80 रुपये यूजर्स चार्ज, 200 रुपये कार्ड फीस और 1500 रुपये ग्रीन टैक्स के भी देने होंगे। इसी झंझट से बचने को वाहनों के नंबर को भारत सीरीज शुरू की है। यह सीरीज 15 सितंबर 2021 से शुरू होनी थी, लेकिन अभी तक उत्तराखंड में इस सीरीज के नंबर नहीं मिल पा रहे हैं।

दूसरे राज्य से टैक्स को करवा सकते हैं रिफंड

किसी भी राज्य में वाहन का टैक्स 15 साल के लिए जमा होता है। यदि आप इससे पहले वाहन को किसी दूसरे राज्य में ट्रांसफर करवाते हैं तो बचे हुए सालों के टैक्स को रिफंड करवा सकते हैं। उदाहरण के लिए 2010 मॉडल की हिमाचल में पंजीकृत कार को अगर अब उत्तराखंड में ट्रांसफर करवाते हैं तो अगले तीन साल का जमा टैक्स हिमाचल से रिफंड भी ले सकते हैं। इसके लिए आपको हिमाचल नंबर के अपने वाहन का रजिस्ट्रेशन उत्तराखंड में होने का प्रमाण पत्र देना होगा।

दूसरे राज्य का वाहन एक साल से ज्यादा उत्तराखंड में नहीं चल सकता है। वाहन को ट्रांसफर करवाना जरूरी है। यदि वाहन एक साल से ज्यादा राज्य के भीतर रहता है तो उसमें पांच सौ रुपये चालान का प्रावधान है।-सुनील शर्मा, आरटीओ, (प्रवर्तन), देहरादून
