फाल्गुन कांवड़ यात्रा के चरम पर पहुंचने के चलते यातायात प्लान लागू कर दिया गया है। कांवड़ मेले की समाप्ति तक हरिद्वार-नजीवाबाद हाईवे पर भारी वाहन सुबह चार बजे से लेकर रात बारह बजे तक पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंधित रहेंगे। यदि किसी वाहन को नजीवाबाद की तरफ आना-जाना है तो वह वाया जगजीतपुर, लक्सर, मंडावली, बिजनौर से होते हुए जा सकेगा। इसी तरह रुड़की से देहरादून जाने वाले भी छुटमलपुर बाईपास, बिहारीगढ़ होते हुए जा सकेंगे। 

सीओ यातायात राकेश कुमार ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि 28 फरवरी तक के लिए यातायात प्लान लागू कर दिया गया है। शहर क्षेत्र में सुबह आठ बजे से लेकर रात आठ बजे तक भारी वाहन पूरी तरह से बंद रहेंगे। बताया कि रसियाबड़ से पैदल कांवड़ यात्री हाईवे क्रॉस करके नहर पटरी से होते हुए नजीबाबाद की तरफ रवाना होते हैं इसलिए यहां यातायात व्यवस्था सुदृढ़ की जा रही है। बताया कि 4.2 डायवर्जन-नजीबाबाद से आने वाले कांवड़ यात्रियों के वाहन नीलधारा पर्किंग में पार्क होंगे। यहां से कांवड़िए नमामि गंगे घाट, चंडीपुल, आनंद वन समाधि पार्किंग, दीन दयाल उपाध्याय पार्किंग अंडर पास से होते हुए हरकी पैड़ी पहुंचेंगे।

नीलधारा पार्किंग से कांवड़ यात्रियों के वाहन हनुमान मंन्दिर से डायवर्ट कर चंडी चौकी होते हुए नजीबाबाद की तरफ रवाना होंगे। चंडी चौकी से कांवड़ियों के वाहन चंडीचौक की तरफ नहीं जा सकेंगे। उन्हें हनुमान मंदिर तिराहे से डायवर्ट कर नीलधारा पार्किंग में पार्क कराया जाएगा।

दिल्ली की तरफ से आ रहे कावड़ियों के वाहन अलकनंदा कट से होते हुए गढ्ढा पार्किंग में पार्क कराए जाएंगे। वहां से उन्हें प्रशासनिक मार्ग होते हुए हरकी पैड़ी की तरफ रवाना किया जाएगा। बताया कि गढ्ढा पार्किंग के फुल होने पर कांवड़ियों के वाहन  शंकराचार्य चौक से होते हुए बैरागी कैंप में पार्क होंगे।  देहरादून-ऋषिकेश से आ रहे वाहन दूधाधारी चौक से होते हुए मोतीचूर पार्किंग पहुंचेंगे। मोतीचूर पार्किंग के भरने पर वाहन चमगादड़ टापू में पार्क कराने की तैयारी है।
