हल्द्वानी : तराई केंद्रीय डिवीजन की भाखड़ा रेंज में झाडिय़ों में लगाए कड़े में एक तेंदुआ के फंसने से हड़कंप मच गया। बताया जा रहा है कि शिकार के चक्कर में यह कड़ा लगाया गया था। ऐसे में जंगल में वन्यजीवों की सुरक्षा को लेकर भी सवाल खड़े हो रहे हैं। सूचना मिलने पर वन विभाग की टीम भी मौके पर पहुंच गई। डाक्टरों को भी बुलाया गया है।

भाखड़ा रेंज के तहत दीक्षांत स्कूल के पीछे का जंगल आनंदपुर ग्राम पंचायत तक फैला है। मंगलवार सुबह सूचना मिली कि एक बाघ शिकार को बनाए जाल में फंस गया। जिसके बाद वनकर्मी भी मौके पर पहुंच गए। कड़े में पैर फंसने के बाद तेंदुआ हाथियों से बचाव को लेकर खोदी गई खाई में गिर गया। जिससे स्थिति और नाजुक हो गई। वहीं, तेंदुएं के शिकारी के जाल में फंसने की सूचना मिलते ही महकमे में भी हड़कंप मच गया। आनन-फानन में टीम मौके पर पहुंची। उसके सुरक्षित रेस्क्यू के लिए पिंजरे भी मंगवाए गए।

बेहोश करने की तैयारी

खाई में फंसे तेंदुएं को निकालने के लिए अब उसे बेहोश करने की तैयारी की जा रही है। इसके लिए डॉक्टर बुलाए गए हैं। तेंदुएं को ट्रेंक्यूलाइज किया जाएगा।

जांच जरूरी

जंगल मे घूम रहा तेंदुआ जैसे ही आबादी किनारे के वन में पहुँचा था फंस गया। ऐसे में तेंदुए को बाहर निकाल मामले की जांच जरूरी हो गई है। कहीं ऐसा तो नहीं कि इस एरिया में शिकारी सक्रिय हो गए हैं।
