रुद्रपुर (ऊधमसिंह नगर) : ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में खराब आर्थिक स्थिति को देखकर मंजू का मन हमेशा कचोटता था। वह खुद के साथ ही परिवार की मदद करना चाहती थी। बच्चों की अच्छी पढ़ाई व परिवार के अच्छे जीवन स्तर के लिए चिंतित रहती थी। वह चाहती थी वह भी परिवार व समाज में कुछ योगदान दे। जिंदगी सिर्फ चूल्हा-चौका करने में ही न बीत जाए। इसी उधेड़बुन के दौरान कहीं से उसे ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन के बारे में पता चला। इसके बाद तो जैसे उसकी प्रतिभा को पंचा लग गए। मंजू ने बीते दशक में अपने को सशक्त बनाते हुए करीब 2000 से अधिक महिलाओं को रोजगार दिलाया। वह निरंतर महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने काे जागरूक कर रहीं हैं। जरूरतमंदों को प्रशिक्षित भी करतीं हैं। महिला दिवस पर जानते हैं मंजू की संघर्ष से सफलता की पूरी कहानी…

ऊधमसिंह नगर के गदरपुर ब्लॉक की गूलरभोज निवासी मंजू अपनी आर्थिक स्थिति सुधारने के साथ ही अन्य महिलाओं के लिए हर दिन कुछ नया करने की चाह रखती हैं। उनका कहना है कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पुरुष खेती करते हैं व अधिकांश युवा रोजगार की तलाश में दूसरे राज्यों में चले जाते हैं। महिलाओं की भूमिका घर के कामों तक ही सीमित रह जाती है। उनकी पढ़ाई-लिखाई, हुनर व क्षमता का कोई उपयोग नहीं हो पाता है। वह कुछ करके परिवार के आर्थिकी को मजबूत करना चाहती थीं, जिससे कि जीवन स्तर में सुधार के साथ ही उनकी प्रतिभा का सदुपयोग भी हो। वर्ष 2012 में मंजू को राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन के बारे में जानकारी मिली। उसके बाद उन्होंने पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा।

2000 महिलाएं बनीं आत्मनिर्भर

राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन से व 2012 से 2014 तक जुड़कर समितियां बनाना शुरू कर दिया। उसके बाद मंजू ने आठ वर्षों तक करीब 2000 से अधिक महिलाओं को स्वरोजगार के लिए प्रशिक्षित किया। इन महिलाओं को मशरूम उत्पादन, सिलाई, प्रशिक्षण, फर्नीचर प्रशिक्षण, मोमबत्ती व अगरबत्ती व धूप बनाने आदि का प्रशिक्षण दिलाया। ये महिलाएं अपने घर व गांव में उत्पादन कर आत्मनिर्भर बनीं हैं।

दो तरह के प्रशिक्षण

मंजू ने बताया कि समाज में दो तरह के परिवार हैं। एक जागरूक जो अपने घर की महिलाओं को बाहर भेजकर पढ़ाई व प्रशिक्षण के लिए तैयार थे। दूसरा वह कि जो करना है घर की चाहरदीवारी के अंदर करना है। इसके लिए मंजू ने दो तरह के प्रशिक्षण का प्रारूप बनाया, पहला जिसमें घर के बाहर समूह में प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता था, जैसे मशरूम उत्पादन, फर्नीचर, छोटे स्तर पर आर्गेनिक फार्मिंग, अगरबत्ती बनाना या जिसमें मशीनों का प्रयोग होता हो। दूसरा घर के अंदर जैसे अचार-मुरब्बा बनाना, सिलाई-कढ़ाई आदि। इसके साथ ही विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में स्वरोजगार के लिए महिलाओं को घर-घर जाकर कुछ काम करने के लिए जागरूक किया। उन्हें निश्शुल्क प्रशिक्षण देकर सशक्त बनाया।

मिल्क ग्रोथ सेंटर में भी महिलाएं

महिलाओं को रोजगार दिलाने के लिए मंजू ने क्षेत्र की महिलाओं को मिल्क ग्रोथ सेंटर में समितियां बनाकर रोजगार दिलाया। उनका कहना है कि दुग्ध उद्योग से अपने परिवार के साथ ही समाज को स्वस्थ बनाया जा सकता है। यह उद्योग ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के लिए काफी मुफीद है। शहर में उतनी भूमि व चारे की व्यवस्था से लागत बहुत बढ़ जाती है, जबकि गांव में थोड़ा प्रशिक्षण लेकर अपेक्षाकृत आसानी से किया जा सकता है।

तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण की खलती है कमी

मंजू ने महिलाओं को स्वरोजगार के लिए प्रेरित करने में कोई कोर कसर नहीं छोड़ रही हैं। पर अभी तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण की कमी महसूस होती है। कई महिलाएं अधिक पढ़ी लिखी भी हैं पर तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण से जो परिणाम मिलने चाहिए वह नहीं प्राप्त हो रहे। जल्द ही इसका कोई रास्ता निकाला जाएगा। बताया की सरकार की ओर से महिलाओं को तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण दिया जाए तो अधिक रोजगार महिलाएं कर सकती हैं।
