नैनीताल : हाई कोर्ट ने गलत आंकड़े पेश कर किसानों को प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा (Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana) की कम रकम दिए जाने के विरुद्ध दायर जनहित याचिका पर सुनवाई की। कार्यवाहक मुख्य न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति सजंय कुमार मिश्रा व न्यायमूर्ति आरसी खुल्बे की खंडपीठ ने केंद्र व राज्य सरकार को छह अप्रैल तक जवाब दाखिल करने को कहा है। साथ ही बीमा करने वाली एसबीआइ जनरल इंश्योरेंस व मुम्बई की एनसीएमएसएल कंपनी को नोटिस जारी किया है। सुनवाई के दौरान राज्य सरकार की तरफ से बताया गया मामले की जांच करने के लिए कमेटी गठित कर दी है। कमेटी ने एनसीएमएसएल कंपनी को प्रतिबंधित भी कर दिया है।

नैनीताल निवासी अजीत सिंह ने जनहित याचिका दायर कर कहा है कि नैनीताल जिले के 42,300 किसानों ने प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा (PMFBY) के अंतर्गत खरीफ की फसल का 2020 में एसबीआइ जनरल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी से बीमा कराया था। लेकिन डेटा उपलब्ध कराने वाली मुम्बई की एनसीएमएसएल कंपनी ने गलत आंकड़े दिए। जिसकी वजह से जिले के किसानों को फसल बीमा का बहुत कम पैसा दिया गया। कई किसानों को रकम दी ही नही गई। इसकी शिकायत पीएमओ से की गई और यह मामला संसद में भी उठा। याचिका में किसानों की ओर से एसबीआई जनरल इन्श्योरेंस और मुंबई की कंपनी के विरुद्ध कार्रवाई करने और किसानों को हुए नुकसान का पैसा दिलाये जाने की मांग की है।

क्या है फसल बीमा योजना

प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना हर किसान के लिए बहुत उपयोगी है। इसमें किसी आपदा के कारण होने वाले फसलों के नुकसान/बरबाद होने को कवर किया जाता है। पीड़ि‍त किसानों को वित्तीय सहायता मिलती है। प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना की शुरुआत फरवरी, 2016 में की गई थी। कृषि मंत्रालय के अनुसार योजना के तहत 36 करोड़ से अधिक किसान आवेदकों का बीमा किया गया है। प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना की https://www.pmfby.gov.in/ आधिकारिक वेबसाइट है।
